"sales practices are deceptive. My sales rep came to the house and evaluated my roof. I had no illusions that my roof was in good shape. It needed to be replaced. Victors touts themselves as roof specialists and will give an “honest” evaluation of your roof. I am sure you have seen the commercials. My rep went into the crawl space, on the roof, and presented photos of the roof. The cost was high, and my wife and I said no to the original offer but when they came down in price by $6,000.00, we agreed to the contract. This is where they got us. The price included three sheets of wood but any wood on top of that would be $85.00 per sheet. I asked our rep if he thought all of the wood on our roof would need replacing, and he said no. He said one side of our roof needed replacing but the other side of the roof was good and did not need replacing. But I knew that they would have to replace the wood on part of my roof. I knew this because other companies told us the same thing. Fast forward to the installation. The foreman showed me one board to be replaced and said others would need replacing as well. I told him that I knew some boards would need replacing. When we got to the end of the installation, they informed me that they had replaced all of the wood. Seventy-Three sheets. I was never under the impression that all the wood would need to be replaced. I requested photographs of my roof to justify all of the wood being replaced. They sent photos and only one photo showed one piece of wood with mold. I informed them that I felt scammed. I was told they reviewed the photos and stood by their decision and apologized that the rep did not set the expectation. I brought to their attention that they evaluated that all of my wood needed replacing from photographs but their roof specialist who was in my crawl space, on top of my roof, and told me all the wood did not need replacing could not tell me that all the wood needed replacing. I am now responsible for you guessed it $6,000.00 in wood replacement. Convenient? Suspicious? Yeah. They are shady. I am sure it is also a pure coincidence that after I put down my deposit the balance is almost the exact amount we qualified for in financing plus $700.00. So, beware of Victors. Good product but you will pay for it, and they will deceive you out of every penny you qualify for."

Sadly, the project manager got into a car accident on the phone with me and the installation crew cut the fiber optic internet cable to my house and then tried to hide it by tucking it into the siding. While I’m ultimately happy with the result, I’d be cautious next time I need major work done."

He and his team worked on the project for about two months, and he constantly checked in on design questions, and made a lot of great recommendations for aspects we had not considered. We love the result! We have a great, weather-protected outdoor space that blends perfectly with the house, a raised deck that lets us walk from the house out to the swim spa, and steps to a lower deck that wraps around our hot tub. We also have a lovely front porch with robust handrails and a ramp (since this is our retirement home). Our neighbors have made a point to compliment the work!"

"I have used Rustic Slate roofing a few times now for slate maintenance, new gutters, and gutter cleaning. Each time it has been easy to get a meeting set up for a quote. This year Bela came out to discuss the work. He then he emailed a detailed quote, and we set up a time window for the work to happen. The day the crew came out they did all the work very well and left with everything cleaned up nicely. They replaced some broken slates, updated some flashing, did some paint work on my chimney, cleaned the gutters, and removed some algae from my siding. Bela has a first class operation - easy to work with, friendly, and provides great work. I'll call him again next time for the TLC my slate roof needs."

"After sustaining tornado damage to our cabin roof in May, we contracted with RRG Roofing. The contract stated specific structural carpentry work to be done to repair damage. RRG requested, and was given, more money over and above the original adjuster's estimate to cover this damaged area. However, the RRG "carpentry", and I use the term loosely, was substandard and would never have passed an inspection. (RRG didn't pull a permit for this job, although one was required by the county for structural work.) This substandard work, which for brevity purposes was new structural lumber sections not being scabbed in or attached in any way, was pointed out to multiple RRG people the day of the roof job, including the crew leader, project manager, and the original salesman. Pictures were also provided multiple times to multiple people at the RRG main office, including the Warranty specialist and the Production manager. RRG was also notified in writing of all deficiencies, including this. RRG refuses to address this issue, although it was documented in the same photos as other significant issues they have addressed. The sales manager, whose name had been given to us several times as the person who could work with us on this issue, flatly refused to do so. This job was paid in full, and we had faith that RRG would stand behind their work and address any and all deficiencies."
