"Super customer service! Everything was totally explained to me and what needed to be done on installation. Brett was very informative & by the time he explained everything to me, I didn't have any questions. Brett was very professional but also easy to talk to. I love to support local businesses & EEHI LLc is that kind of company. All work was guaranteed. I strongly suggest you book an appt. with EEHI. My radon count went from a 10 to a .02 when he came back for final reading! I feel so much safer now! Super company & Brett was fantastic! Book with this company because they are so honest!! "Adam and Nick arrived on time and performed the fan installation quickly and efficiently. The men acted as a team and helped the job to go faster. After seeing how the job went, we asked Adam to look at another project and after hearing his diagnosis and estimate contracted with him to do another job."

"They brought my number down substantially. I had a really good experience about them. The company tells you exactly what's going on and supported the fact with documents. The workers were personable and work fast. I would recommend them to everybody and I'll definitely use them again"

Radon Detection and Reduction questions, answered by experts

Radon is present almost everywhere but, like sunlight, the concentration levels and how often you are exposed to it have a large part to play in just how dangerous it is. There are levels of radon that are acceptable inside a house, but above a certain limit, radon becomes a serious radioactive hazard that is a known cause of lung cancer. In fact, radon exposure is the number two leading cause of lung cancer (after smoking).

Long-term exposure increases lung cancer risks. Prolonged homestay individuals and smokers encounter heightened vulnerability and exposure concerns.

Radon is a cancer-causing radioactive gas that poses serious health risks, infiltrating homes through foundation cracks and unnoticed spaces.

Radon detection is crucial as prolonged exposure to radon gas, a leading cause of lung cancer, poses significant health risks in residential environments.

The natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water can cause radon to appear in a home. The gas seeps into homes through cracks in foundations, walls, or floors, as well as through gaps around pipes or construction joints. Radon levels are influenced by soil composition, building materials, and ventilation. Poorly sealed or airtight homes can trap radon, allowing it to accumulate.
