"The young man came to the door, introduced himself. We had a good opening conversation. I explained my concern about our gas fireplace. He immediately checked for a gas leak, there was none. He explained to me what could have happen to cause the sound. Ethan, great personality, explains what he’s doing and assured me that there’s no problem. Give this man a raise and promotion."

"Absolute skill and class. I called thinking I had a much bigger problem than I did. Jeff (the owner) came to do the work, and let me know I didn t need to replace anything...just cleaning and servicing needed. I so appreciated his honesty. He also took all the appropriate Covid 19 precautions when doing the work, and he was kind and easy to talk to. I will use them annually to keep my gas fireplace in top condition!"

"The guy called and said he is 10 min away. He arrived 45 minutes later. He looked for bubbles in the dark. I had to keep asking would you like the lights on? Finally, I just cut them on. He claimed he couldn't find a leak after Duke Energy found one and the smell of gas was all throughout the house. I should've used a fireplace company first to avoid wasting money. I was going to pay through Angie list but it was cheaper to just pay the service call. I don't know if he really couldn't find the leak are was upset he arrived 15 minutes before he was due to get off. He was friendly though?. I can say they guy I talked to on the phone was very nice. I would use the service again based on how nice he was but only for plumbing."

"Alan came very promptly. Although I was not home at the time, the person who watches my house during the day said he was very punctual, diligent in his efforts, and obviously, what he did worked. I don't know what he attempted first, but the end result was removing the toilet upon which he found some strange candle or air freshener type of object (previous owner's) creating the clog. All is well that ends well. I would definitely use this service again."

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Yes, professional services include proper fuel line connection and ventilation to meet safety codes.

Most likely, a gas plumber would be the best pro for many components in your home, and you might not even realize it. Natural gas plumbers are responsible for maintaining and installing natural gas lines, including installing appliances that use natural gas. These can include:

  • Fireplaces

  • Water heaters

  • Furnaces

  • Hot tubs

  • Clothes dryers

  • Ovens

  • Outdoor grills

Gas plumbers are also the pros that would handle a natural gas leak in your home, so it's essential to know the signs of a gas leak before it becomes a dangerous situation.

The cost of a gas grill burner ranges from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the brand. If you’re replacing one burner, consider replacing all the burners simultaneously. Although it will cost more upfront, it will save you the hassle of replacing a burner every few months, and your grill will cook more evenly and efficiently.

All U.S. states require permits for gas grill installation, so you’ll have to get one before you move forward with your project. Permits help ensure that the gas line runs safely to avoid gas leaks and explosions. Gas line permits can usually also only be pulled by certified plumbers, which means you’ll have to hire a professional from the start. The permit for a gas line installation for a gas grill usually costs between $100 and $300. You can contact your installation company or building department for more accurate pricing.

Propane sales companies typically offer propane delivery, tank installation and maintenance, grilling refills, and emergency support for supply interruptions.
