"Jeff and his 2 men were the nicest people, ever! Hard workers, knew what they were doing and did it perfectly! They should get a rating of A++++ They removed old thin wire from a Kentucky Board fence & replaced it with heavy duty black wire fencing. Big Job! Removed poorly built gates & replaced it one red cedar roll top gate, sturdier hinges and a hand opener that really works. Also, put in 6x6" treated pine posts 12 " in diameter and 32" deep in concrete footing. Also, lined the gate with metal bars for sturdiness. Fantastic!!! The clean up was perfect. The whole job was perfect. And they completed the job in one day - as promised!"

"Lance and his company was most professional and courteous before we even committed to an install. Once we scheduled an install, it was well executed and looked and worked great. Training was done by a superb trainer that our dog took to immediately. You can tell they care about their profession as well as the animal. A year later, damage was done by a third party. Lance himself showed up promptly on a holiday weekend to fix the fence and save our weekend. I can't recommend Lance's Hidden Fencing enough. A+ job."

"David was the first to respond to 8 requests for fencing estimates. I wanted a company where I would meet the installer, not a salesperson. David provided a reasonable quote and was able to fit me in faster than I expected. He promptly responded to any questions. I just needed a partial fence as I have fences on either side of me. The job was completed in a day and turned out better than I had hoped. The fence looks great. David also offers a 3 year craftsmanship warranty, which was better than my other quotes. If needed, I would definitely hire again for another service."

"My first reaction was to replace the fence new posts, rails and wire. Cincy Fence Repair came out determined that with the exception of 1 post and 1 rail the fence was sound except some wire. the post and rail would be replaced and new wire. A big saving against a new fence. The work was completed in a day. An addition to the rebuilt fence Dig Defense was install at the base of the wire, ( a first time using this product for CFR, a few snags from roots but in general the were installed in 1/2 a day) Both men were true craftsmen and hauled away all trash. The dog loves it's new boundary. Pricing was very reasonable and work ethic of both men was excellent."

"They showed up for the estimate and the work on time. They spent more time on the project than anticipated but the estimate did not change. They were helpful in guiding me through the next step of waterproofing the fence.

not completed at this time. As stated above job scheduled to start on 06/19./14. Job was completed on July 3, 2014. The retainer wall and steps are GREAT.

The privacy fence is not so great. The railings run into of the fence posts and not behind the posts. Just make sure I researched how to build a privacy fence on the internet and found out the railings should run behind the posts and the corner posts are secured with screws. They (the railings) are secured with nails. This construction is not secure. They(Eagle Creek) but two railings and not three. . I called Davey several times and he finally came out on July 10, 2014. We discussed this issue and he said he would discuss the issue with his father. I had to call Davy again today (7/15/14 ) to get a resolution and he said " the fence is secure and would not blow down." This fence cost $2400.00 per their estimate and it does not meet the expected results. I am currently waiting for Eagle Creek to get back to me so we can resolve this issue before it escalates.

I want to clear up something I wrote in sentence six of the first section. Davey did say they would use the old fence post but Eagle Creek did not use the old fence post, they installed new fence posts. They did use my nature stones to make the platforms for the steps leading to the fence/patio area and to the second level which leads to the back entre door to my garage. We had a meeting today and per our conversation,

1.They will add a third railing to the fence and secure the railings to the fence posts with screws.

 2. secure the pickets to the new railing with nails

 3. Countersink or remove all visible nails

 4.  Put new sod in the areas damage by their equipment. and complete other misc. items discussed.

The quality rating for the retainer wall and  steps is A+

Fencing questions, answered by experts

There are many pros and cons to vinyl and composite fencing. Both fencing types offer longer lifespans than wood fencing, with some notable advantages. Whether one is better for you will depend on a few factors. Composite is better if you prefer recycled materials, while vinyl is extremely easy to clean.

Also, consider the disadvantages: vinyl can be more expensive, while composite fencing fades during the first six months.

Armadillos are attracted to water, so a leaky irrigation system or an overwatered lawn can encourage them to move in. They especially like wet areas where they can burrow and loose soil where they can dig for grubs. They are also attracted to dense ground cover, where they can often find food sources.

Regular lawn care keeps snakes away because it eliminates common hiding places. You can deter snakes by trimming grass, shrubs, and trees and removing weeds from your lawn and gardens. Clear away leaves and other debris that could serve as a potential snake habitat. You can also seal entry points around building perimeters and install metal snake fencing.

In most cases, a fence can only be built on your property with your consent. Not obtaining permission constitutes an encroachment and a violation of your property rights. However, exceptions may apply, such as when the fence is entirely within the property boundaries of the person putting it up and the fence complies with local zoning laws and regulations. If you think a fence infringes on your property or is not up to local standards, consult with local authorities or legal experts to address the issue and protect your property rights.

When deciding between fence post foam and concrete, the best choice depends on your specific needs and priorities. Concrete is generally considered stronger and more durable, making it the preferred option for heavy, load-bearing posts. However, expanding foam offers several advantages, such as being more eco-friendly and curing much faster. For smaller fences or those made with lighter materials like vinyl or wire mesh, post foam is a good alternative. While concrete is more affordable, it is also harder to work with and has a longer curing time.
