"his crew worked very hard at an extremely difficult job. as the house was unoccupied for a time, there was lots of mouse droppings and filth. they also disposed of all the debris and unwanted household items( a huge amount). as i was sleeping at the adress, they even bought sheets and a cover and made one of the upstairs bed for me, as i was in a sleeping bag.
     he worked in four hour shifts and allways called before he came. his crew was friendly and courtious and very hard workers. when he could not meet a time due to unexpected circumstance(rare) he would allways call and let me know and make alternate arraingements. 
     i have seven rooms, most of them contained multiple items of furniture and various amounts of debris. much of this was unwanted by me, but some was very much important for me to save and remove as they were family items. the crew were very helpful in separating and organizing the various items. many of these items, those i wished to save and those i wished to dispose of were very large and/or heavy and awkward to handle. all were handled quickly and carefully. there was one recliner that i was dreading had to be moved from the basement to the living room so it would ready to be moved to a new location. i saw it being moved down there many years ago, and the guys that took it down had a lot of trouble and lost a lot of skin on the way down.
     i guess i must have looked hungry to them for one day they showed up with some corn meal pancakes with various vegetables baked in. they were home made and they were really tasty. i can't remember for the life of me what he called them, but they were great. i very much felt comfortable with them in my home, and as an old fellow who lives alone and likes it that way that's saying a lot. also, several times i had to leave the house for various appointments. they were very conscientious and were careful going in and out with my dog there and were very careful she didn't wander out the door or the back gate. after a few days she would look forward to their visits. her tail would wag when anyone knocked on the door.
      all through the whole job they went beyond the basic tasks and really did the extra things that i thought made all the difference. for instance, they cleaned off the back porch, removing an old grill and a couple of old broken window air conditioners. this was as per my instructions, but they also, when they were done sweeping all the mud and leaves they washed the concrete and bleached it to whiten it up. it looks almost brand new now. they also supprised a small young possum, which caused a bit of a stir as two of the fellows were born in nigeria and had never seen one before. fortunately i was there to explain and save the day.
    the house is three floors, counting the basement, and they had no problem carrying all that stuff all down and out of the house. they also helped me stage the items i was keeping and really helped make it much easier for me to get it out when i'm ready to take it away. they cleared out all the unwanted items in the garage, stacked and organized the remaining items after they had swept and washed the garage floor. once again they were only asked to clear it out and sweep it, but they washed it and it too looks new. they also removed many things that were stored in the rafters that i would have never been able to get to.
     he hauled away all the items that i didn't want, which was a considerable amount. he also gave me a free house cleaning on the bottom floor where i was living while i get this place ready to sell when he was finishing up on the garage last of all. he even arranged to have my lawn mowed for me when he learned i was having out patient surgery. he also was very flexable when i had to have him skip a few days to have another crew come in to do some other work
      i found him and his crew both friendly and easy to work with, and i would definitely recommend them to a friend. as a matter of fact i have already recommended them to my brother

"The job overall was completed but not in the original way we spoke about via text, images, and verbally in person. The quality of the work that was actually done was satisfactory. He told me on various occasions that the way I wanted the job to be done was more difficult and time consuming than what he wanted to do. I wanted the problem subflooring removed in a large section and replaced. What was done: replacing pieces to either side of the middle and reinforcing the middle area rather than replacing. This was then charged as 3 separate pieces, ultimately resulting in a moderately higher bill via unit pricing. I wanted the bathroom flooring ripped out prior to VLP being laid. 1/3 was ripped out before he stated that this again was too labor intensive and wanted to just lay the VLP over the existing sheet flooring. I let him lay half his way. Via text when asked for a new estimate on the higher end was $675. I was charged 51% higher."
