He is a very nice and respectful person. However, he did not sand with the grain, but against the grain in my house. After he stained the floors, you can see stripes all along the floors. I am disappointed in the detail in the job. At first the floors looked great, then I looked further and noticed the errors on them. If you hire him, mention to sand with the grain not against it. These floors have stripes all over them.

Recently purchased my first home - built in 1900 and found narrow plank original hardwoods under the carpet upstairs. I contacted several hardwood floor refinishers and was ghosted for estimates or given astronomically high quotes. Miguel contacted me from my Angi’s inquiry and was able to come out next day for an estimate. Miguel and his wife Thania were on time for the estimate, gave me advice about the stairs (the other contractor told me I needed entirely new stairs !!!), and quoted me 1/3 of the price of the highest quote I received. You read that right: ONE THIRD of the cost of the highest estimate I received. Miguel & Thania started work the very next day. They completed within a few days and let me tell you— these floors are immaculate!! Completely gorgeous. They were kind, professional, prompt and responsive. I immediately passed their info to friends in need of hardwood floor help. I will be contacting them again to take on the first floor project in the future!!

I hired Wood Floor Finishing to redo the floors in my home. The house was built in the 1860 and the floors finished beautifully. The folks were here at the time they specified and worked very hard. They finished four rooms and two hall ways in four days. These are large rooms - one 15x15 and three 17x18. I feel they went above what I expected and am very pleased with the results. I highly recommend their work.

This was a great experience! Miguel called me promptly and was available to do my project in a timely manner. I had one floor with mild water damage and one with horrible water damage from an old carpet cleaning experience. They worked hard on the stains and one turned out perfect. The second, more troublesome, was more beautifully restored than I thought possible. You have to examine closely to notice the damage that was there before they started work. Affordable and did a great job.

EXCELLENT WORK, floor is beautiful, he was able to get the bad pet stains out, matched original stain also.Fast to call me back (same day) while competitor took 5 days to return my call w a quote, which was higher then Miguel. I would hire again ! Great job

I would recommend that you go over all aspects of the job prior to them starting the job. There was a miscommunication as far as I didn't want any stain on my floors I wanted them to stay natural and he stained them natural. He did correct the problem by sanding it all off and starting over. I just was able to look at all of my floor well to day he slopped poly up on to the base board and I am now going to have to sand and repaint the entire upstairs base boards, he didn't fill the cracks in the hardwoods like we asked him to do I am very disappointed in the quality of the work that this person supplied. Basically I would never hire him again, he did poor work on the floors and has caused me an enormous amount of work to correct his sloppiness with the poly and the floors do not even look good
