Matt tore down the whole piping system on side of house, replaced with new pipe, fixed all the sprinkler heads, realigned, and even found a massive leak in our flower bed. "We had quite the journey with Tom from Szell. He came a few days after I called and inspected our already installed sprinkler system. They came back the next day and replaced heads that needed work. Unfortunately, not all of the heads worked after that, so he had to return again the next week. We ended up having some - unrelated - water line issues, and Tom came to our house on a Saturday evening and spent an hour trouble-shooting with me. So he was very committed to helping me, but the initial quality wasn't 100%. The water line issues got in the way of a seamless experience, but I had total faith in his expertise."

"We met with Jim in March and went over our needs for a yard that includes wet/dry zones and was having new flower beds installed in the spring. Jim presented a great plan and was open to suggestions which included changing the zones in the far back from vertical to horizontal. He explained his process of doing spring openings first before he did new installs. The spring of 2019 was a record setting wet spring so our project was delayed until July. Jim stayed in contact and was able to accommodate us as his first residential install for 2019. He showed up as promised with a crew ready to work and finished the job in the 3-day time frame. He was able to creatively work through challenges so the system meets our needs. I LOVE having the entire system controlled from an app on my phone. The app is intuitive and it is easy to create multiple schedules involving a variety of zones - some are grass and others are flower beds. The system is flexible and additional heads can be installed as we add more plants to our landscaping. We also have a rain monitor that works in conjunction with the local NWS reporting station. Jim and his crew are professional, easy to work with and nice to dogs who need a break outside during the day. I highly recommend Jim and his crew!"

"I bought a home with a sprinkler system two years ago, but had not turned on the sprinklers. A plumber warned me not to turn them on without checking out the system. Two of my neighbors use Shafer in the Spring and Fall. I called to set up an inspection & to get my sprinklers activated. Great work for a very fair price, and I'm extremely pleased. Don't be put off if you encounter some difficulty reaching them, or a call isn't returned promptly - they are VERY VERY busy, but their services are reasonable and done well enough that it's worth the wait. Josh came over he looked at my disaster of a yard and he made me feel great because he knew exactly what to do to help me.
