We had quite the journey with Tom from Szell. He came a few days after I called and inspected our already installed sprinkler system. They came back the next day and replaced heads that needed work. Unfortunately, not all of the heads worked after that, so he had to return again the next week. We ended up having some - unrelated - water line issues, and Tom came to our house on a Saturday evening and spent an hour trouble-shooting with me. So he was very committed to helping me, but the initial quality wasn't 100%. The water line issues got in the way of a seamless experience, but I had total faith in his expertise.

Tom called within an hour of my email to him and several days later he reconnect the water supply, replaced a valve and did a few other things that I can't explain, but he did them fast and did a great job.

The Szell team came out promptly, and determined that the flow valve for the identified zone was bad and needed replacement, which was promptly fixed, with complete resolution of the issue. Because of their professionalism and knowledge, we decided to ask them to install sprinkler heads in the neglected flower bed. They had to get the water line under our driveway, and were able to do so without much difficulty. Our flowers - and we - are much happier as a result. From our perspective, a clearly competent, knowledgeable, and experienced company. We'd definitely hire again.

They are responsive. They are very nice people to work with. They have taken care of this sprinkler system for a long time now. Tom, the owner, comes out and does the work.  Their prices are a little on the high side.

Tom, responded very quickly after i called 3 other companies that were
recommended to me. My system was not working and they fit me in with other jobs they were working. They quickly accessed my system and tracked down the problem.  I will be using them again for my shutdown and maintenance.

As an active Realtor, I have the opportunity to watch what other sprinkler contractors are doing. I have referred Szell without hesitation and everyone was thrilled with their A+ service. In my opinion they are the very best in town.

I checked several providers on Angie's List and Tom was actually the second company I called.  First company did not respond to a voicemail after four days.  I called late in the evening and was surprised that the phone number rang through to Tom's cell.  He was out to the house the very first day we were available to meet him.  He and his team were prompt, professional and courteous. 

We have a rather old home and have had to have a LOT of work done.  I found Tom to be one of the most responsive and responsible people that we have hired.   He explained the process and his own personal process thoroughly and in a clear manner.   He was always on time and explained any obstacles that we might run into and what the ramifications could be (such as finding old rusted out pipes that might need to be replaced, coordinating water shut off with the city etc)
We had the system installed in advance of putting in a new walk way and a new lawn.   Tom worked closely with the landscaper and was done well in advance of the start of the other project
Tom does a lot of work in the neighborhood so I have seen him a few times since the job was done and he seems always willing to help.   I would recommend him if you need some irrigation work done.  
As far as price goes, I didn't get any other quotes, but it seemed reasonable based on discussions with other folks I know who have had similar work done.

Very Well. Had to come back a couple of times to fix, but was quick!!!!
