I called Home Exteriors in March for one of my estimates based on the information from Angies list and the BBB. Gary Martinis came out the next day at 6:00 (had to work around my work schedule) and wrote up a detailed quote, taking the time to explain things as he did since I knew nothing about roofing except what the insurance adjuster had said. The estimates I got were within 600.00 of each other, so I based my decision on reputation and I am so glad I did! Gary even gave us a break on new gutters and a leaf guard system so we added that onto the job. Per arrangements the material was delivered on April 2, 2013 at 8:00 am, and the crew arrived at 8:00 a.m. the next day and by 8:05 there were people on the roof and really working! They kept at it until 8:00 that night, even had some rotted wood replacement. Back next morning at 7:30 and spent most of the day (we have a very big, steep roof!) and finished the roof, ready for new gutters the next day. When they left for the day there was not one scrap left from the job - the only indication they had been here was the beautiful new roof! Gutter guys came next day, same level of professional installation and clean up. We've had some rains since then and everything is looking great - so happy with the whole experience! I am very impressed with the professionalism of this company and the quality of their work

Coming from a family of contractors, I generally hiring the actual individual who's doing the specific job. However, I am so happy I hired Home Exteriors to handle everything on my rental for me! Gary came out to give me the estimate for my complete exterior makeover and I was immediately 'smitten' by his professionalism! Being a big project, I actually met with 5 contractors this time. For the "price contentious" people out there, one estimate was considerably less, another a few hundred less, one was slightly higher and the 5th much higher. Strange but true. I chose to go with Home Exteriors because of his professionalism, his taking the time to actually care and make 'very helpful' suggestions and because of their quality of work as mentioned in their reviews. The work I had done was a complete tear off and new roof, new vinyl siding, with shake and nice accent trim, (which we went over together a few times and he helped me), new gutters and glass block windows. They had a different team of workers for each of the projects which I found to be best. All did excellent work in a timely manner. He also did a great job of getting rid of so many 'unnecessary' electrical wires hanging everywhere from all the different tenants thru the years. My only concern was the gutter guys he used didn't 'take the initiative' to finish off a downspout that was left open hanging towards the driveway with a sharp edge. That surprised me. I called Gary and he sent someone over there immediately! I highly recommend them. I'm still doing my happy dance! 10 stars out of 5! They finished the roof in just over a day and a half of 8 hour day. Very satisfactorily. The gutter was quick and efficient finishig within 2 hours.

No leaks to report at this time. Gary was a personable salesperson and the installers were polite, expedient, and efficient. I did find some debris in the yard and under i needed to clean the showers in the house, (they are under the skylights,) but i am satisfied with the work done at this point. UPDATE: i discovered much more debris in the yard and clogging the gutters. they appeared to have used my wheelbarrow, which isn't a problem, but they left nails and debris in it. and i have recently discovered more shingles missing from the roof. still acceptable work, but better clean-up was expected. UPDATE2: (Sep 2015) few missing shingles in same area are down again for the second time since the initial repair

"We were having an addition being constructed and the general contractor sent Absolute Roofing to do the roof. While here they inspected the house roof and found damage. They helped us to understand the insurance process and we received payment for those repairs. We did a lot of research before picking our gc so it was nice not to have to do the same thing to find a roofer. Since the gc trusted Absolute to represent them, it was good enough for us. We had no problems.

We hired them to do house renovations (removing wall paper, removing carpet, fixing hard wood floor, painting, completely renovating bathroom, replacing front door). Shawn and his team were fantastic! The renovations were for my parents' house. Shawn communicated very well (especially since my parents don't speak good English, so Shawn and his team communicated with my siblings and me). "Ed the owner of Capps Enterprises was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was very professional, trustworthy, and detailed in the work he was going to perform and not perform. The work performed on the house meet our expectations which were very high to begin with. He cleaned up the yard every night and was careful not to destroy the landscaping around the house. "A-1 Superior Home Improvement, Travis Workman. We highly recommend this business. All work we required was completed. Our sister’s metal roof was painted ensuring a number of years of use without problems. Our gutters were cleaned and most important out siding was replaced that was damaged by a tree a number of years ago. We had sought out other service providers to repair the siding, but no one ever followed up. Most house siding is 4” but ours is 4 ½”, harder to find. Travis and his wife made calls and search to find siding that would work on our house. While it took a little time, they did not give up. After a number of years of tattered siding, thanks to their efforts, our house siding is renewed.

"They were prompt, professional and seemed to work efficiently and cleaned up after themselves well. The issue we have had is with the shingles they installed and the warranty- both of which were sold as top of the line product by the Hinckley salesman. In less than 2 years sections of our roof were green with what seemed to be algae, seemed odd as we barely had any on the previous 18 year old roof. When I contacted Hinckley they routed me to Owens Corning to follow their warranty process, but said they would help provide whatever I needed to file. So I completed the very complicated, and laborious process of filing over 20 photographs, multiple shingles from the roof, paid to ship all the materials to Owens Corning. After weeks of follow up, I was fnally was told that yeah, they tested the materials in their lab, and it was lichens not algae therefore not covered by the warranty. ( they of course provide no lab reports, and were very rude to deal with) I was upset that the warranty of the shingles was so misleading. Hinckley eventually found a spray to rid of the algae/moss which has worked but will need to be repeated periodically and we pay for the service/materials. Our issue was with the manufacturer, not Hinckley and they definitely tried to help us out; but I would say they should reconsider selling misleading warranties or this product given the amount of complaints about it. I would also not go the expense of the gutter guards, we seem to have had more ice form with these guards than before.

"Great job! Bid was very good. The owner included an inspection of my house site roof at no charge. I put the deposit down in February knowing that it would be some time before they would get to me after the weather turned better. Office kept me informed of the job date. The crew showed up at 9am. They did a great job on the roofing and the clean-up. They even took down a super old antenna from the peak of my house. Very satisfied.
