"Nate and Joe did an incredible job. Both are extremely quick and meticulous and in their work. It took less than 1 day to cut and install and 2nd day to grout. By noon of the second day, my project was complete. All the cuts were perfect and their attention to detail was amazing. They took great care to protect our floors and countertops during the job and cleaned-up at the end. My wife and I cant stop staring at our beautiful new backsplash. We plan to use Exotic for our Master Bathroom project next. Wholeheartedly recommend Nate and Joe for any tile project anyone is considering."

"Great. He replaced the tile quickly and it looks perfect. Grout is well matched. He also replaced a drain for me. He also rebuilt a step in my backyard on my deck that was rotten and dangerous so that it could be safe again. He has good skills and is always prompt. He also has great communication skills. He is a great handyman."

"A little confusion with billing but we got it figured out. A little more expensive than I thought it should be. Good customer service, quick professional installation. I would buy from them again."

We pride ourselves on our clear and concise communication. We want to ensure we provide you a quick, quality service on time and on budget.\n\nWe joined this business because we were tired of calling ten contractors to only get two to come out and bid. Then having to wait another 2-3 weeks to even get the bid before even scheduling service. Waiting around for weeks then just to have the project delayed and go way over the estimates didn’t feel right.\n\nWe are provide our clients the pricing quickly and transparently either on our website or right on a 15min consultation video call. We do everything to plan for issues that could arise on a job before they happen and, we inform our customers before the job begins if any changes would be expected.\n\nOur technicians have years of experience in the industry and pride themselves on quality and attention to detail. Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Figure out how much tile you need by measuring the backsplash area. Measure the height and length in feet and multiply to get the square footage. Don’t make adjustments for outlets or small cutouts but subtract the square footage for windows or other large obstructions from the total. To account for waste, get 10% more than your calculation.

Like glass tiles, you will not need to seal most porcelain tiles, particularly if the porcelain is already glazed. It depends on quality. Porcelain is very water resistant, but it is not 100% waterproof. To avoid staining, some homeowners use a penetrating sealer. It is also a good idea to seal your grout. Unless you use epoxy grout, grout is very porous and can harbor bacteria, mold, and mildew.

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all best tile for a dog shower. Consider your budget, tile durability, aesthetics, and, most importantly, practicality. Avoid tiles your dog will slide around on. Pebbles are a great non-slip option, but are pricey and tricky to install. Glass might look modern, but it’s not scratch-resistant. Small, floor-rated ceramic or porcelain tiles are economical and have many grout lines that make the surface more slip-resistant. Pick a matte finish rather than a shiny tile if you want it to hide stray mud and hairs better.

When working on your bathroom floor tiling, you should always tile the floor first and then refit the toilet afterward. This has both practical and visual advantages—the tile will have a better seal, and the installation will look cleaner.

On the other hand, when you try to cut the tiles to fit around the toilet, you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage. It’s a lot more work, it’s hard to be precise, and mistakes or miscalculations can lead to future moisture damage to the tiling, grout, and subfloor.

Yes, even if you’re being careful, removing tile can damage your drywall to some degree. However, you can minimize the damage done to it by eliminating a majority of the grout and taking your time prying each tile off. Also, it's worth noting that you might have more drywall damages to deal with if your tile is set into the mortar.
