Customers say: Quality work

"I had turned off my furnace since the weather was getting warmer. The next day I noticed the gas smell and had to contact my gas company. A leak was detected, and my service was turned off pending the leak being repaired. I called eight different plumbers for help; most were scheduling 2-4 weeks out. Columbus Gas Pros was referred to me by one of the companies I called. Phil explained what would be required before any work could even begin on the leak and shared average costs for this type of work. The information provided is what made me decide to go with Columbus Gas Pros. They were able to get me on the schedule for the next day. When the guys came out to do the work, they were just as thorough about what was needed. Once the repair was done, I was able to get the gas company back out the same day to restore service. Phil was available to me should the gas company have any issues/questions with the repairs that were done. Thank you to all the guys that came out, everyone was genuinely friendly, down to earth, which I appreciate so much more than the button downs I used to call. I am telling everyone about COLUMBUS GAS PROS!"

"I hired this company to clean my gas logs. I spent over $250 and am still having trouble with them. My logs light, but after 15 mins start to smell like they are burning and then shut themselves off. This problem has gotten worse since they were here. I have contacted them multiple times to have them come back out to look and they will not return my call. I will not hire this company again. Update as of 12/20/2022 Update to my review: after talking with the company they have made things right with me. Their customer service was quick to respond to my review. Seems there was some technology issues at play screwed up the callbacks."

"Jeremy arrived on time, observed appropriate Covid19 precautions & performed the work in a professional/timely manner. The company was able to schedule this non-emergency work very quickly. Their pricing was reasonable, too."

Small jobs welcome

"John was thorough when checking our gas fireplace. It had been suggested to us that the pilot might have been cracked. John cleaned the fireplace debris and said the pilot seemed fine once the area was cleaned. He was informative, answered any questions I had and took care to be careful when removing the debris."

"â Value for Moneyâ â ¦repairing a gas leak is very expensiveâ ¦however my safety comes first and Buckeye Heating, Cooling and Plumbing put my mind at ease. All Buckeye Staff I spoke to and worked with were very competent, thorough and very professional. Thank you Phone Representative (Zachery) and Technician (John) for their fine job. I do want to clarify that Buckeye Heating, Cooling and Plumbing was not a company that came up in my Angi searchâ ¦I did additional searching and saw them on BBB, 5 star rating, and close to where I reside. If needed, I would hire this company again and would recommend the to others."

"This company was very responsive and professional. I called needing an emergency installation of an electrical line and box for a gas cooktop so that the cooktop could be connected. This was on a Tuesday evening and the line and box were installed the next morning. Matt Wehrie called to confirm the time of arrival that morning which was met. The charges for this service were quite reasonable. The installers were pleasant and professional. I would use this company any time that I have need of an electrician.

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.

The cost of a gas grill burner ranges from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the brand. If you’re replacing one burner, consider replacing all the burners simultaneously. Although it will cost more upfront, it will save you the hassle of replacing a burner every few months, and your grill will cook more evenly and efficiently.

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.
