"From the initial call to the completion of the job Mike was very thorough and professional. He really knew the pool operations and was able to figure out my pool issue quickly and completely. He was able to come out same day that I called and he even followed up the next day to be sure all was good (no one in this business has ever done that for me or the rest of my family who also owns pool!) Very personable too! Great job!"

"We own a pool company and hired them as sub contractors to apply the plaster coat on a new pool. Everything was done perfectly with a wonderful finish. They were easy and polite to work with. Great family owned operation. Owner was on site the day of application and checked on everything 24 hours later. Excellent and fair pricing."

Customers say: Quick response

"Matt and his crew at Construction Dynamics built us an inground concrete pool. The biggest decision was who to hire for this large investment. Matt's responsiveness and availability throughout the project is what made him the right choice. His knowledge and experience with building pools is evident from the first conversation, but taking calls and text messages 7 days a week and into the late evening sets him apart. The pool was completed on time, on budget and with excellent quality. Construction Dynamics will be my go to for any future pool builds."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Above all, the downside to building a new house is a longer timeline. You need several months to finish the build, depending on the supply chain and labor availability in the meantime. Building a home compared to buying one is also more expensive, both in the building process and when it comes to mortgage rates and property taxes.

Framing is often the most expensive phase of building a house because it’s time-consuming and requires a lot of materials. It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process. Some plots of land sell for $3,000, while others cost upwards of $150,000.

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

Depending on the type of land survey, the report will mark the boundaries of your property, the topographical changes of the landscape, as well as major natural and added structures to the plot. A more detailed survey, like an as-built survey, will note the measurements of the structures and landscape following major construction. A topographic survey will also help your contractor determine the cost of land development projects.
