"Moving APT moved me from my 2 bedroom apartment to where I'm at now in Orlando. When they arrived to start the move I had a few things that I hadn't boxed up."

"The two guys were 10 minutes late. They carefully moved the contents of my apartment but I have a treadmill that the guys didn't know how to get out of the door so they needed to disassemble part of it. They said they do that all the time but they didn't know how to get it back together when they got it back to my house. This was very disappointing. If you aren't sure you can get it back together, you shouldn't take it apart. They didn't even try to get it out the door first before taking it apart. It is a very heavy treadmill which is why I help them move it but they are the professional movers so I trusted they knew what they were doing. That was a big mistake. Another comment I want to make is the back of their truck was filthy dirty on the floor and when they put my mattress in the truck they got my mattress dirty on the side that was on the floor. They need to sweep out their truck after each move to keep their truck clean.
All in All the guys worked very h****** this hot and humid day and I couldn't have moved without their help. They were nice guys and they they did a decent job. I paid for 4 hours with the Angie's List Deal but I ended up going 3 hours over and had to pay an additional $85 per hour plus tax. The guys said I had to pay the balance in cash which I thought was unprofessional but I made sure the mover gave me a receipt.

"We moved about an hour away. We had moved a lot of the small stuff so we used Moving Ahead Services for the heavy stuff like an Elliptical machine, glass table, and washer and dryer. They were on time and came with a positive, pleasant attitude. We had some special requests and they accommodated all of them. Moving is not easy, and they made it as smooth as possible. They were conscientious and didn't leave until everything was to our liking. We were happy we used them and would strongly recommend for any move."
