"The wallpaper removal, wall repair and wall painting work was all excellent. The cost estimate for just the wallpaper removal, however, was too low by 25%, from 16 to 21 man-hours. The ceiling painting was estimated for one coat and it needed two. I'm convinced a more experienced painter could have painted a white ceiling with white paint in just one coat. $30.00 an hour for two experienced painters is an excellent price value. However, for about half of our project we only had one painter. Had we had two men for the whole project, I'm sure that the project would have taken 3 days and not 4.  $30.00 an hour for only one painter is a good value, but not excellent. Overall rating should really be an A-. We have much more painting planned and we do plan to have Pierson give us a quote for the work and we would use again.

"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."
