About us
Pierson Professional Painting LLC was started over 10 yrs ago and we take pride in our workmanship and the overall experience our customers have with us from start to finish. It is my belief that anyone should be able to hire a painting contractor and have a great experience. We work hard to satisfy the needs of our customers, and that starts from the estimate process and goes all the way through to completion of a project. We feel confident you will have a good experience, and more importantly when problems do arise (and they do!) we will work to overcome those problems and still deliver a great product. I have much appreciation for the relationships I have gained through working with Angie's List customers. We are not just an interior painting company, but we cover many areas of the home from exterior painting, decks, wood restoration (front doors), driveway sealing, cabinetry painting and refacing, light carpentry, stenciling, wallpaper removal, drywall repair and finishing, wainscoting, ship lap walls, fiberglass door staining, handrail and balustrade refinishing, light electrical and hanging of artwork. I want you to know we appreciate the opportunity to work with you, and without great customers we can't have a great business. From the first estimate until the job was completed and cleaned up, they did everything I requested and exceeded my expectations on quality and value. They used high quality paint and painted all of my gutters, up to 3 stories high. When they found something needed additional work, they discussed with me and they did as I requested. James and Devvin are an excellent team an I would highly recommend them. For this job, James, the owner, was unable to be on site so Devvin completed the job. His work was outstanding! He was meticulous, neat and communicated often with good suggestions. He was punctual daily and completed the job right before Christmas. I wasn't sure if we'd be able to do what we wanted with the steps since they weren't really meant to be "uncarpeted" but they came out perfect!

I hired Pierson Professional Painting to paint the trim around my house. This included 4 wooden gables and four back entry doors. The house has some high areas to paint and they used a lift to reach these areas. This included a chimney. I appreciated this because I am concerned about safety. High quality Sherwin Williams paint was used. The paint job was excellent. Pierson Professional Painters also have the skill to repair problems that were found during painting. They replaced a rotten soffit and some missing shingle molding. They added a piece of missing flashing. Some caulking joints were also removed and replaced. I would hire these painters again. They also cleaned the property before leaving. Good value for the price. I was also given some useful advice regarding my gutters.

When I contacted James, he was very quick with getting back with me and setting up the consultation. James was very thorough with the information and the process of the job. From the moment I met James for the estimate of my complete home interior paint job, he was nothing but thorough. His level of attention to detail is what set him apart to me from the other people I had bid on the project. When it came time to actually execute the job, James and his partner Devin continued to exhibit that same set standard of thoroughness I observed during the estimate. The home I purchased was on the older side and had a lot of wear and tear in the walls, but after these two guys completed all of the patching, repairs, and painting, the walls looked brand new. The quality of the work they provided was well worth what I paid. I intend for James and Devin to be my go to guys for this type of work in the future. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a painter, to at least have these guys out to give you an estimate on your project. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Wow, where to begin, James was professional, accommodating and a pleasure to have in our home. He took great pains to have a clean, organized work area. He is very knowledgeable and takes great pride in his work .He steered us to company where we bought new cabinet doors and a few drawers that needed to be replaced, the price was very reasonable and made sense to reface instead of painting the doors. The paint job he did was absolutely remarkable. In addition to painting the cabinets he did a bit of carpentry on the back side of an island and did a beautiful job with that. We asked if he could paint the ceiling and yes he would , he also hung our new lighting fixtures. We were going into this project with minimal understanding of what needed to be done. James put us at ease from day one, he knows what he’s doing and can articulate that in a manner we understood. James Came out and gave me a quote promptly. They provided a quote for interior painting. I arranged the work a couple of months later, after I had my floors refinished. James and Deven worked hard and were very attentive to detail. They worked quickly. They used high quality paint and did 2 coats on the walls and one coat on the trim. James is very friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again. It’s just the two of them and they don’t use any subcontractors. I got 3 quotes from highly rated Angie’s List providers and James’ price was the middle one.

James is the best painter I've hired. He is pleasant and professional. His pays close attention to detail when painting or doing finish woodwork (shoe molding & a new banister system) in our home. He does beautiful work. He is excellent at repairing walls and blending paint for spot touch ups. I highly recommend him and his team.

Very well. Work was completed in the estimated time frame and was of exceptional quality. Drywall work is typically a very messy, dusty operation but this job was completed with very minimal amount of cleanup after the job. The workers were very friendly and responsive to questions and modifications. The room they were working in doubles as a utility room housing the hot water heater, water conditioner, and HVAC and so required some very tricky cuts to get the dry wall to fit properly. They were able to make these cuts almost seamlessly. The finish work was nearly flawless and ready to paint. Great job!
