Our company had it’s beginning January 1st of 2000 in Cincinnati, Ohio. We’ve completed countless residential projects since then, from many different suburbs along with the rebirth of the historic downtown area of Over the Rhine. We can include projects from Lebanon, Mason, Loveland, Indian Hill, Westchester, Montgomery, Oakley, Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout, Maderia, Milford, and others. Even down into Northern, Kentucky. Our hard work ethics and extreme attention to detail are just a few things that have made this company successful. We can’t forget too, our customer service is second to none! This sets us apart from the competition, and sets our customer’s minds at ease throughout all phases of their projects. We are ready to earn your business!

"Hogeland Construction was the best company that we worked with during the entire build. We began the build right when Covid hit. There were delays upon delays that were out of our locus of control due to Covid restrictions. These delays included in permiting, inspections, availability of materials etc. Covid turn everything upside down. However, Bryan Hogeland was able to adapt to the obstacles and never compromised on the quality of his work. We were impressed by his ability to pivot at a moment's notice to the unpredicted challenges the arose. Bryan's greatest characteristic is his thorough communication. He would even call at night in the middle of a torrential rain storm to make sure that there were no leaks. We can say that I really believed that he was as invested in this project as we were. It was a true partnership."

We have over 22 years experience and are committed to knowing and using the newest technologies and building construction practices available. Our team is comprised of professional craftsman like you would expect from generations ago. We are serious about doing things right so our work lasts for generations.

"The Assured Construction team helped us transform a drab two season sun porch into a four-season sanctuary. The team brought all the things you look for in a contractor and more – highly skilled and creative craftsman, strong communicators, and respectful house guests who cleaned up each evening before wrapping up for the day. The Assured team were thoughtful partners who offered meaningful solutions as we bumped into old home unknowns. As the project came to life the kind people who shared our home with us over several months became friends. More than a year later when we had a warranty issue with new windows, the team walked every step of the way with us to see that it was fully resolved. We highly recommend this amazing team!"

Established in 1978, we're your electrical contractors of choice specializing in both residential & commercial electrical work & wiring repair, call today!

"John the technician did a nice job, the only problem I had was the bill was much higher than the bid, that Perry had given me. Sent Perry a message about the bill, and he responded with a phone call, and said he was sorry for the misunderstanding in pricing and refunded us the difference. He handled the problem in a very timely manner. Very professional about the whole situation."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

You can certainly talk with electricians about pricing, but the pro has the first and last word on what they charge. If you feel like a quote is too expensive, you can discuss the quotes that other electricians have made and see if they’ll lower their estimate in return. Or you may be able to talk about specific parts of the estimate and how they can be changed.

Yes, Christmas lights on a timer are just as safe as any other Christmas lights are. Most fires caused by holiday lights are due to damage to the strings of lights themselves or from too many lights being plugged into one circuit.

Wiring can last anywhere from 50 to 70 years, but all kinds of mishaps can occur that reduce the lifespan of your electrical wiring, including severe weather conditions, pests, and even faulty wiring. Keeping a preventative maintenance scheduling and hiring an electrician for an annual electrical inspection will keep your wiring system around for as long as possible.

The process of hiring a reliable electrician begins by searching for local professionals and verifying that they hold a master electrician certification and the proper licensing for your area. After that, you should read through reviews from past customers to see the kind of service you can expect from the contractor, as well as look at the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) website to check for a history of company complaints. You can also ask for customer references to make sure you’re choosing a reputable professional.

For a 200-amp underground service, you need a minimum of #2/0 American Wire Gauge (AWG) copper or #4/0 AWG aluminum or copper-clad wire. Don’t forget that, at minimum, you’ll need to use a 1 1/2-inch schedule 40 or 80 PVC conduit to successfully run a 200-amp underground service.
