John the technician did a nice job, the only problem I had was the bill was much higher than the bid, that Perry had given me. Sent Perry a message about the bill, and he responded with a phone call, and said he was sorry for the misunderstanding in pricing and refunded us the difference. He handled the problem in a very timely manner. Very professional about the whole situation.

I found Perry to be very knowledgeable and helpful in determining what caused both of my ceiling exhaust fans in the bathrooms to stop working. He and his assistant Connor were up in the attic unblocking and repairing the exhaust pipes, replacing the two units and a heat lamp, cutting a hole in the ceiling for the new larger exhaust fan in the master bathroom. They cleaned and vacuumed up after the work was done. Perry noticed I had wires behind my home and went through it with a meter and found two places that needed to be addressed. When they were through, I asked him to check my basement electrical box to be sure everything was in order. He found some issues and showed them to me. I asked him to come back and do the work, bring a new fire alert and a kitchen receptacle that wasn't working right. Perry noticed electrical issues other electricians didn't. He is priced fairly, very personable and I asked him to come back yearly and check the vents so they don't blow out the fans again. I was very happy with his service and the end result.

Great work and great communicator. Perry came out, gave suggestions on what we needed for electric in an back yard storage building. The guys came out and put in lights and electric. Everyone was very personable. Very good value for all the work that had to be done. We will use Leitner Electric in future. Very nice people.

Fabulous they were there on time and had the work done quickly and accurately.

There were a total of 3 visits. On the 1st one the electrician called in advance and then arrived ½ hour before the 1 hour appointment window. He examined the smaller heater in the kitchen and determined its blower needed replacing, He took it with him back to his shop to replace the blower, if they had one. The grey 10’ long heater in the dining area was tested. Its thermostat worked. But the heater did not. It needed to be replaced. I told him that I did not want a white one because, being that color, more maintenance would be required. He thought that might be the only color available. The company’s CEO would search for one. That evening the electrician called saying only a white 10’ long heater could be found and he could get it right away. I did not want it and would endure the cold in that room a little longer. He and my husband would search online for one over the weekend. He would call us Monday morning. He did find the part for the smaller heater. When he called he said the smaller heater has been repaired and he will bring and install it when he came on Tuesday, the next day. My husband told him that the second smaller heater in the kitchen was not working. He would look at it when here. An almond 10’ long heater was found online, my husband told him. Per the electrician, he would ask if the CEO would order it. He arrived on time on Tuesday and installed the repaired heater. He had replaced its blower. The second smaller heater was examined and tested. It was determined by the electrician that it was not receiving any electricity. It was on the same circuit as the grey 10’ long heater. That circuit had been turned off for safety reasons. After my husband turned on that circuit, the heater worked. The electrician could have been dishonest and lied by claiming he repaired it. Even though he had bought a white 10’ long heater after the previous visit, he returned it for a refund since we did not want it. He advised us to order the almond 10’ long heater and a thermostat to save money. Otherwise, buying them thru his company would be at marked up prices. Upon delivery we were to call his office requesting an appointment for their installation. A week later, he was kind enough to call to keep in touch. We gave him the information about the delivery and that an appointment had been scheduled. A little over a week later, he, despite some time-consuming challenges, installed them. The room and area are warm once again.

Perry Leitner, owner, did the work.  He claimed he was an expert in the installation of SolaTube skylights.  He was not.  He overcharged and did a very poor job.  The individual reflective tube segments of the SolaTube were not assembled correctly and the long run of the assembled SolaTubes was not properly supported.  It took almost 3 years of phone call and e-mails to get Leitner to respond.  He never did fix the problems:  low light level and water/bugs/dust getting into the tubes.  He finally gave up and called First Day Natural Lighting in the Dayton area (they are the factory-approved installers and they are fantastic) to fix his own shoddy/improper work.  Leitner then stalled when First Day Natural Lighting sent him the bill for the labor cost of the repairs.  I was billed about $261.00 for three roundtrips from Dayton to my home in southeast Indiana plus a couple of parts needed for the repairs.  Leitner was billed $1000 directly for the labor done by First Day.  It took many months before Leitner paid the good folks at First Day Natural Lighting and he has never repaid me the $261.00 I paid out of my own pocket.  Leitner is a poor workman who does not stand behind his work.  He got in over his head on the SolaTube installation and never admitted that he did not know what he was doing.  It was only when I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau that Leitner paid the wonderful people at First Day Natural Lighting.  Leitner is untrustworthy and unreliable.  He is a smooth talker who does poor/shoddy work.  Beware!

He injected the insulation into the concrete block in my house. He did a great job and very was very neat. It doesn’t smell and it is a very environmentally friendly product.

He was very expensive. Perry is a longtime friend of my husband. Unfortunately my husband didn't get an estimate of how much it would be. We thought he would give us a fair price. It took a little over an hour to do it. He then sat around chatting and showing us new lighting on his truck. He wrote the bill up after two hours and said that he was there two hours for the work. We were pretty upset about it. He talked about how business had gone down but you shouldn't screw your customers.

Perry Leitner (owner) and the his crew did an excellent job installing the Coplaum connectors to the aluminum wiring and upgrading our service to 200 amps.  We chose Leitner Electric not only based on them having the best quote but he was very thorough and explained the process well and in detail.  As an added bonus that we did not expect, they troubleshot and corrected circuits that were not functioning as intended.  Perry also made suggestions that would improve the efficiency and functionality of our home given the age (40 years).  It's very refreshing to see the owner of a business that is very involved, he was there everyday while the crew was working until the job was complete.

I would highly recommend Leitner Electric.

My experience with them was very positive. They gave me the estimate over the phone, and they matched what the final price was. They were professional, clean, quick and timely, and their quality of work was good. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Didn't get response from my initial call for a few days but after that, every aspect of the the service was excellent.  Service tech, Mike, was personable, professional and knowledgeable.   We had to postpone the work twice because of weather, but the communication about this was great:  he called when he said he would call, very easy to work with.  The work was excellent and included the re-installing of a lamp post which had settled and was crooked.  The re-install was perfect.  Clean-up of the jobsite was traceless -- couldn't tell he had been there.  I would use them again and will recommend to anyone needing electrical work.

I called their office after hours and got the owner.  A very personable guy who remembered me from some work they'd done for me years ago and set me up with an appointment the next day.  The technician called early, arrived on time and got right to work.  The first problem involved a little diagnosic work, as it turned out that some other work I'd had done (not by an electrician) had impacted the circut in queston.  The second problem he diagnosed and repaired very quickly.  I've used this company twice now and found them to be professional, fast,  and easy to work with.

I have used them twice before for major work at my house and really liked the job that they did. Mr. Leitner doesn't come himself all the time, but they seem to be quite knowledgeable about what they are doing. They are prompt. I have an older house, so there has been lots of little electrical details that they have taken care of periodically. They are a little expensive, but I give them an A on price because of their quality.

excellent work overall, very efficient but minor issues with detail finishing

Showed up exactly when anticipated and repaired the aluminum wiring in my new home. Very professional and friendly. They were willing to install new fixtures and to suggest improvements as they worked through the house. They also installed a whole-house fan and attic fan and were able to complete everything within the same time frame anticipated for the aluminum wiring repair. Overall I was very impressed. The only minor concern I had is that there were lots of little bits of wiring trash left in the house when the electricians finished the work.

They came in, analyzed the problem in minutes and started working on it. They ran into some problems because of the age of the equipment, but developed an innovative way to resolve the issue. Great job.

This company is outstanding. They worked quickly, quietly, and cleaned up the mess very well. They were on time. The job was a big one and turned out great. We love how this keeps the whole house cool allowing us to save money on our air conditioning bill!

I initially paid them $180 for an emergency call because they came after 5pm. The electrician quickly found the problem - an old circuit breaker. Because he didn't have the parts, would have to return. To ensure we had power overnight, he did some magic. Although I was again charged for a service call when they returned, they did give me a 10% discount. They did a great job.

WE HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR YEARS. THEY HAVE GOOD COMMUNICATION.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY DID A GREAT JOB IN EVERY ASPECT, BUT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET A HOLD OF THEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. THE PERSON THAT CAME OUT KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING.
