"Very smooth install. Ed was nice, personable, and timely. He installed the solar lights efficiently and correctly. And they function perfectly. Fee was very reasonable as well. He’s agreed to install similar lights next weekend at our daughter’s home located about 10 minutes away. We’re in the market for a new handyman, so would not hesitate to contact Ed again. Thank you."

"Joe answered the phone on a Sunday afternoon and set the appointment for the next day.  He was punctual and went straight to work.  The replacement of the faucet, garbage disposal and sink went well without any hiccups.  He also found a link in the main drain and  repaired it.  We purchased a "big deal" and he completed the work in the time within the time frame.  We would definitely use Joe again for our plumbing needs!

"It was great. He was early! - with warning. Friendly and professional. He reset the garbage disposal with an allen wrench - he even gave me one! He said it was a lower level model and said I should think about replacing but with no pressure. He gave me an estimate if I decided to replace in the future."

"Dublin Plumbing LLC did an outstanding job. They were quick, accurate, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.
Our older home was not properly plumbed under the kitchen sink, which caused issues with water backing up into the right sink from the left sink when the garbage disposal was run. In addition, the sink started draining very slowly. At that point, we contacted Dublin Plumbing LLC, and they promptly came out and provided an estimate for the extensive work that needed to be done to correct the problem.
They were able to schedule our job several days later. They showed up on time. Jim was present on-site to oversee the work most of the time. The installation of the new drain, vent, faucet & garbage disposal all went well.
They were able to access the drain pipes below in the basement by neatly cutting access panels in the back of a built-in cabinet. They replaced the access panels, and they don't look like they were ever cut.
When they discovered that they needed a bigger piece of equipment to clear the clogged drain under the basement floor that the kitchen sink drains into, they promptly scheduled this for early the next morning, and they quickly got that drain cleared.
We also had a clean-out plug stuck in the basement floor for the main line. They drilled it out and replaced it with a new plug.
After all of the work had been completed, Jim followed up with a phone call to make sure we were satisfied.
Jim, Aaron, Chad & Chris all worked on our project. It was a pleasure to have them work in our home.

"Disrespectful, Sexual Harassment, Incomplete Work!!! RED FLAGS went up from the beginning. Mark "required" me to read parts of the contract out loud like a was a child. Unfortunately, I did it! After seeing the quote and Mark selling me on the fact that he would make high quality barn doors for me and that he does not contract out any of the work, I decided to proceed with the job. Mark and I agreed that his crew could start on my job and work intermittently between my job and another job that he was finishing up. The job started out as planned and there were no issues when Mark was not around. However, when was around, he was very disrespectful to me on many occasions. He would yell for me to come down to the basement by referring to me as, "Hey Legs" get down here. That was just the start of sexual harassment. During the renovation, we noticed that the doorbell for my house was located in the basement which we all thought was odd. The next day, in front of his crew, Jim, Bryan and his son Matt, Mark said, "You promised me you were going to ring my bell." He was the only one who laughed. Another time he said, "My wife has a string tied around me too but not my arm." Again, no one laughed but Mark. There were other sexual related comments from him and I was always relieved when he did not show up for the day. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable. As far as the quality of the work, Jim, Bryan and Matt did a nice job and was very thorough. However, Mark does and did contract out the drywalling. The beautiful barn doors he makes was just a selling point. He had me go pick out some doors at Menard's at a very low price. He had no intentions in building any for me. Later on, I received a text stating that I needed to go buy the hardware to hang the doors. What? Your quote did not include hanging the doors? A completed basement with doors leaning against the wall. Now that's funny. He did agree that it was an overlook on his part. Another issue was a noise coming from the water pipes in the basement. He reassured me that he and his crew could remedy this problem. After rerouting the pipes, the noise moved from my dining room to the kitchen. When I shared this with him, he said, "I told you that I would reroute the pipes." No, what we agree upon was that you would eliminate the noise not move it. There are emails between him and I with these discussions. I do believe the overall craftsmanship is good with the exception of the painting. The painting in my laundry room does not look professional. He and his son did go back over it after I told him it was unacceptable. The idea that he was not going to try to make it better without being told to do so, shows a lot about his character. Before sending this review, I have texted Mark 3 times and called him once to try to work things out. He refuses to communicate with me. Today, I still have the annoying noise in the basement and will be repainting part of the laundry room. I hired "professional" because I wanted a "professional" finish. Mark received all payments on the day that they were due and also received his final payment as I had agreed to. Update: Mark Miller responded to my review as I expected him to do. He has zero respect for women and will humiliate you in front of his workers including his son. If he were working for a man, I am sure he would not use words as "whining and crying and wanting things free.” He would not ask him to “ring my bell.” Mark was paid as scheduled and on time! There was no discussion about COVID except where Mark wanted to take his mask off because he did not believe in wearing them. I agreed to him being in my home with no mask. As far as my ex is concerned, through prayers from the church and myself, he was able to survive his ordeal. The main area of the basement was clear of clutter. There was a small desk, file cabinet, and a chair. However, my laundry is located in the basement. There may have been times where clothes were in a basket but I reassure Mark’s comment using a “stick” to move them is a lie! If a regular schedule was in place, I would not have been doing my laundry while they were there. Never knew when they would show. He is so dramatic. As far as the utility sink, Mark and his son told me that it was leaking. He said if I would go get a new one that they would install it at $25 an hour. I thought that was reasonable so I agreed to it. Why would I “whine and cry” about that? I immediately ran out and bought one for them to install. I did not have one there ready to be installed as he says in his comments. I have a dated receipt that would prove it was purchased about two hours before the job was finalized. Mark, you seem to “not remember” this. The person that installed my floors offered to do the job. I did not go seeking him out. Flooring is what he does. The leaking sink was leaking before the floors were even started. That information can be seen through text messages from Mark and me. As a matter of fact, Mark said that Bryan can go ahead and fix the leak and the pipe issues while he is at my home doing the floors. This did not happen because Mark never agreed to pay his employee for correcting the problem. I guess he wanted him to do it FREE! I did not try to get free work from him. I have emails between the two of us where I had to protect my money. He tried to change the contract and suck more money out of me. He makes promises that he cannot or will not keep."
This is where the laundry room will go!
Sometimes you just need a vision !!! Do you see it yet?
Notice the soffits, walls, and window in this before pic
And here is the completed laundry room!
Can you believe it's the same place!

Install Garbage Disposal questions, answered by experts

In some cases, it’s more cost-effective in the long run to replace a garbage disposal, but it depends on the specific issue you’re having and the age of your disposal. You should ask a garbage disposal repair tech for a quote to repair your appliance and then see if it would be more worthwhile to replace it. Additionally, garbage disposals last for around 15 years, so if you know your appliance is reaching that age, it’s likely better to pay for a new garbage disposal rather than sink money into repairs.

While the drain connection for a garbage disposal is nearly universal and fits standard sink drain holes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, the size of the disposal unit itself is not. You must have enough space in the cabinet underneath your sink to accommodate the disposal's housing. A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. If you are replacing an old unit, it's often easiest to choose a new model of a similar size.

The main issue with garbage disposals is clogging. This can mean a clogging of the pipes that expel the food along with water, or a clogging of the mechanical parts themselves. The problem lies in the solution because you can’t easily see clogs if they’re inside the system, and reaching in to dislodge stuck items is a risky proposal. Call a pro and ask what they would do, but if you can’t see the clog easily, and running the unit won’t free it, you need to let a professional handle the fix.

If the cost of repairing a leaking garbage disposal is close to the cost of replacing the disposal, then fixing the unit might not make sense. When deciding if you should repair or replace your garbage disposal, consider the age of your garbage disposal, the cost of the repair, and whether your garbage disposal has had other problems recently to help you decide if the cost of repairing the leak is better than the cost of replacing the disposal.

It’s one thing that helps, alongside vinegar and baking soda. Ice acts as an exfoliant, helping to lift off any bits of food stuck on the disposal blades.
