They said it did not need sweeping (though we later found out it did) and they asked if we wanted an outside inspection as if it were an add-on. It was raining and I guess they did not want to get wet. They then were delayed sending us a quote and when we asked for one, it was nebulous and prohibitively expensive. Four quotes later we found a company that would do the work needed and not upsell us. We paid $250 effectively for nothing."

I immediately called Darwin Paredes on the phone and told him I would appreciate it if he would come over and look at the roof. I expressed my concern that the new shingles did not fully match the old ones. I thought it would be better perhaps if full shingles were used so that the patchwork would not be quite so obvious. I spoke with Darwin a few times and he said he would look at the roof. He did not come back to look at it. I left a few more messages on his phone's voice mail and sent him two emails.
