"We probably had 5-6 inches of rain fall in our area in less than 18 hours through torrential downpours, resulting in our basement flooding. I called Ranger in the morning. The owner was respectful and promptly had two men at my house within a couple of hours. Trysten and Ben did an outstanding job removing damaged property and removing the water from my basement. They were friendly, very thorough cleaning, setting up drying protocols and, when they returned 3 days later, carefully inspected all areas for dampness and documenting their work. Brick is highly absorbent, so your first few coats of paint will likely seep into the surface of your fireplace, allowing the natural color of the brick to seep through. Limewash can be removed from brick, but the method of removal will depend on how long the limewash has been on the brick.
