The job quality was poor and blamed the customer for communication. He will not complete the job properly. He went back to fix some things and the parts have already fallen out or broke down. "Completely rebuilt our 26-year-old wood burning mason fireplace to bring it up to code. In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. It is comforting to know that we have a completely safe fireplace that is up to code. Looking forward on having Doctor Flue perform annual chimney sweeps during the off season. Eric was able to come out in a few days and install the system. Installation time was about 3 hours. No additional charges. He returned to the house three days later to retrieve the radon monitor and showed me the current reading of 1.0 pC/l, well below the 11.0 pC/l from a prior test. A formal report was emailed the same day; the avg reading was 0.8 pC/l. I highly recommend hiring Radon Fix."

The pros of wallpaper include its durability and longer lifespan than paint, as well as its versatility. The durability can translate to lower long-term costs for upkeep and replacement, and the versatility means you have more options for customizing rooms in your home. Some downsides include that it’s difficult to remove, it’s not ideal for rooms or areas exposed to high moisture content or sun exposure, and it’s tricky to install. A professional wallpaper hanger can help mitigate these issues, though, by installing it properly and in areas suitable for wallpaper.

You can paint over existing wallpaper if you select wallpaper that is designed to be paintable. This type of paper is meant to add texture to walls. Alternatively, if you have old wallpaper you’d like to cover up, you can often paint over that instead of removing it. However, it needs to be smooth, damage-free, and non-textured. Otherwise, any bumps, tears, and texture will show through the paint.

If you can already see the texture of the existing wallpaper through the layer of paint, then the texture could also come through the new layer of wallpaper. If that’s the aesthetic you want, then proceed. But if you want a smoother surface, you should either strip off the existing paint and wallpaper or hang a layer of liner paper before proceeding.

For the most part, peel-and-stick wallpaper doesn't damage walls. However, there may be some cases when damage does occur. For example, if you try to rip the paper off the wall, you may pull away some paint at the same time.
