Radon Fix

Eric contacted me shortly after searching Angie's List. I described what I needed, a radon mitigation system, and he provided a written estimate via email. Much lower than what I expected. Eric was able to come out in a few days and install the system. Installation time was about 3 hours. No additional charges. He returned to the house three days later to retrieve the radon monitor and showed me the current reading of 1.0 pC/l, well below the 11.0 pC/l from a prior test. A formal report was emailed the same day; the avg reading was 0.8 pC/l. I highly recommend hiring Radon Fix.

I could not be more impressed with Radon Fix. They were very accommodating as my wife works night shirt and gets some around 8 AM so Radon Fix came before she got home to start the project as that was the loudest part and they didn’t want to wake her. Within a couple of minutes of requesting an estimate, Eric phoned to set up an appointment that day. During the estimate, Eric was very thorough and was climbing around in my crawlspace. The estimate was very competitive. Eric and Blake showed up on time and completed the job within the 5 hour time frame they gave us. They were very easy to work with and we have total confidence in the job they did. As a follow up, the inspector for the buyers of our house requested that the outdoor wire have a conduit put on it. Even though is was not needed in any way, as the wire was graded for outdoor use, Eric came out and put it on free of charge. If you need a radon mitigation system, hire Radon Fix! It's not a super exciting, fun thing to have done to your home, but you will feel good about the job that they do for you.

The entire process of radon mitigation was efficient, professional and pleasant. Eric is fantastic to work with. His work in the crawl space was paid a compliment by another contractor who said the work was "perfectly done". Eric impressed me because he recognized my faulty sump pump and understood another system in the basement better than my home inspector. He was able to replace the bad sump for me, too. I highly recommend.

I looked for a company on Sunday afternoon. Radon Fix contacted me back within an hour. The next day they showed up at promptly 9:00am. Eric was a real trooper as he installed the system in a downpour of rain on New Years Eve!!!! Everything was completely installed within approximately 3 hours at a very fair price. I would definitely hire this company again for other properties i own if needed and would happily recommended them to others.

Eric was great. Due to my recent bad experience with a horrible con-man handyman group I was very reluctant to deal with someone again and so put feelers out for 4 groups at once. Eric was one of three that promptly responded but was the only one that wanted to come out and actually see what needed to be done and give me a proper estimate rather than just relying on pictures or verbal description (and at no cost). He is a very professional yet personable person and very knowledgeable. Not only was the work done superbly, but when he encountered an issue with one of the projects he promptly let me know and later refused to be paid for the portions of that project that he did complete as I needed to have a plumber come in and complete the last part (nothing of which was his fault in any way as it related to the system present that he would not have been aware of until he got to that portion of the project). I would also like to point out that the projects involved were a wide variety of issues and except for that one part of that one project, he was able to complete them all with excellent results. He will be coming back to complete another project due to my needing to order in some necessary items, but I will welcome him back to complete this and I plan on having him back to complete a number of other projects I have planned in the future. For now, I have labeled him as my new handyman. I have been looking for a reliable one for the past 5-6 years, and I think I finally found one. Call him up, you won't go wrong and his prices are very, very reasonable.

We chose Radon Fix to install a mitigation system that tied directly into our newly installed sump pump pit. The system reduced our levels from ~9 pCi/L to a steady .21 pCi/L. The price was excellent as was the installation. I highly recommend contacting Eric at Radon Fix. Especially if your a veteran.

They had a quick response. They were polite. They are knowledgeable about what they do and other products. Their price was reasonable and was the best from the other quotes I received.
