  • Joe's Lock & Key
We had contacted Joe previously about a sticking key in an exterior door and over the phone he suggested we try lubricating the lock saving us a service call. When we had another lock problem we immediately thought of Joe and he was very prompt and courteous even calling us before arriving. He fixed the problems we called him about and then, as noted above, he fixed a few other issues in the house, explaining each one on the way and letting us know up front what the costs would be. He was a pleasure to work with and I will use him again for any locksmith tasks

We called Baldwin and he came within a few hours of our call. We had used him previously a few years ago and was very satisfied with his service. He checked the lock and found it was misaligned therefore we could not close it. He adjusted the lock plate and the lock worked fine. He also checked a lock on our back door. He only charged $20 for the service. We were very very pleased with his service, the price, and that he came the same day we called

  • Nolen Locksmithing
Mr. Nolen was polite, efficient and professional. I have used him before and was very pleased with his work. I searched for his number when I needed the lock service again. It was a very good experience again. I will continue to use him.

  • Davis Locksmith
The young man came within 1 1/2 hours, gave us the estimate, great price by the way, and quickly installed the new knob. He then re-keyed the lock to fit our current house key. He was very professional and friendly, and we are very satisfied.

Great service. Arrived quickly and stayed until I made it into the house. Unfortunately my lock was metal and he was unable to unlock it but he did manage to saw through the knob so that I could get into my home. Fortunately it was the door from my garage so there was no real lack of security while I shopped for a new lock

  • Sizemore's Lock & Key Mobile Service
On 12/13/13 (Friday the 13th!!) at 7 PM, I discovered that I had locked my car keys in my car, and no spare available. (I was away from home). I called Sizemore's Lock and Key Mobile Service 937-238-5680 and the man who answered agreed to come out. He arrived in a timely manner. He had to struggle with my car for a while before he was able to get it unlocked, but finally succeeded. He was a very nice older guy, and fun to talk to. (Unfortunately, I do not recall his name! Sorry). I will definitely call him again if the need arises. Price was very reasonable

  • Gem City Key Shop Inc
I had a 50 year old tumbler lock in my kitchen door that was no longer working. I took it apart and brought in down for advice and parts. After I could not fix it I called for help from a locksmith. It turned out to be an old lock of a type that the locksmith had never seen. That made me feel better about my own failure with it. the locksmith patiently and effectively rebuilt the lock successfully. It still works great

  • McIntosh Safe Corp
John met with me on a Saturday at his store and helped me decide on a used safe that met my needs. I wasn't looking to spend the money for a brand new safe (almost twice as much as a used safe in good condition), and John showed me several safes that met my needs. He customized the safe at no additional cost to me (build a shelf for the interior, drill a number of holes for mounting the safe, install an electric dehumidifier rod). John met me at the agreed upon time to install the safe, and had that done within a couple hours without any problem. Part of this installation time was spent instructing me on how to open the combination lock. The only reason I rated McIntosh Safe a "B" for responsiveness is that he did not respond to my email & text messages sent to his phone. John was always available by cell phone, but I'd have preferred that he also be reachable by email or text

  • Nolen Locksmithing
The lock in my front doorknob had gotten stiff and "sticky" and the key got stuck in it. I took the doorknob apart, but couldn't get the key out. I went to the hardware store and got a replacement doorknob/deadbolt replacement set, but then decided that I didn't need to make any more stupid mistakes. So I called Nolen Locksmithing (found the referral on Angie's List). I left a message and he got back to me right away. Said he'd be here between 2:00 and 3:00 and he was, so I'd say it was maybe 2 hours from the time I first called. He re-pinned the lock instead of using the replacement I bought, so I get to take that and get my money back. He also fixed the deadbolt, which was upside down, and made me a replacement second key. Really nice guy. I hope I don't need a locksmith again anytime soon, but I'd call him again, for sure, and recommend him to others
