"They were professional and quick. It was a bit pricey in my opinion but most plumbing usually is. We had a clogged drain and they did a mechanical snake from the roof down the vent pipe for $450. They also threw in a 30 day warranty in case the snake didn't fully clear the block, which is reassuring. However, they were confident that the block was resolved. Toilets and shower are draining so it's looking like it worked. Would hire again."

Customers say: Quick response

"Mr. Moreland and his team were on time, stayed late and met all our needs. As the project developed, he was able to incorporate my changing wants and needs. I appreciated his honesty and ideas. I am planning on doing a master bath remodel and opening up the first floor for a little more of an open floor plan shortly as soon as our money allows, thank you all."

"Called Aaron-Andrew's Septic company at 9:15 in AM on 7/24/2015 to ask about getting septic tanked drained as we were having issues with our toilets flushing.  Aaron immediately stated that he could be at our house in Waynesville in 1 to 1-1/2 hours to complete the job.  They arrived ON TIME and cleaned out our septic tank and wanted to make sure that the drainage lines were functioning properly.  After flushing the toilets, it was noticed that they were still not flushing properly.  For $90.00 they were able to snake the main drain line and clear out any issues.  They made some recommendations to my wife on ways to improve and lengthen our time between septic clean outs.  I would definitely use Aaron-Andrew's for our septic needs again!  Thank you.

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Most codes require 15 inches on either side of the toilet's centerline (from the wall or vanity) and at least 21 to 24 inches between the toilet and the wall in front of it. These codes ensure that your toilet is easy to use and access, even in small bathrooms. Check your local building codes for the exact measurements required.

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.

According to the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), the distance between your trap and the vent should be no more than 6 feet. For your vent to work properly, it needs to feed into the drain line within 6 feet of trapways that connect to it. Using this formula, you should be able to determine whether you will need multiple vent lines.

Some of the most common plumbing repairs are certainly no small issues. The good news is that plumbers typically deal with these problems frequently and have the parts and tools ready to take care of them quickly and efficiently. These common problems include:

  • Clogged drains: $75–$250

  • Clogged toilet: $125–$300

  • Bathtub and shower: $100–$600

  • Faucet or showerhead: $200–$350

  • Sink pipe: $200–$500

  • Toilet repair: $150–$400

Adding a half bathroom can be worth it for two reasons: you want to increase the livability of your home and increase its value. While a value increase is more likely for a smaller home than a larger one, smaller houses with a large number of occupants can see a drastic increase in the ease and flow of daily life with the addition of a half bathroom.
