"I reached out to Simply Soul Lawn Care on a Thursday to ask about picking up sticks (and there were a lot with the weather weâ ve had the last month!) and mowing our 1.7 acre yard. It depends. Smaller, younger trees take longer to mature, but they're more resilient, their roots don't get as damaged during transplanting, and they recover faster. Plus, they're much more affordable to plant, and it's possible to DIY the planting.
