"Got a quote from Scott Ballard. I also received competing quotes from other service providers. Home Spec was the highest bid (although all of the bids were close in price). I chose to go with HomeSpec based upon reviews from Angie's List and other online resources. My home is small so the job only took two days to complete. The crew that did the job was lead by Ryan Loop and his crew did an excellent job! They filled three cracks in the foundation walls, and installed a new perimeter drainage system using PVC drain pipe and a sump pump. Prior to the install I had some questions that were answered to my satisfaction by Scott. While the work was being done Ryan answered some more questions I had about the sump pump system as I have never lived in a home that has had a sump pump. I am very pleased with the finished work. When Ryan's crew put in new cement in the basement where the floor had been removed, they did an excellent job in finishing the cement to a level and smooth surface."

I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! At first, it was not level upon completion (BARELY 1/8 INCH OFF) in ONE spot and I let my sales rep Jiovanni know. the team came back out within 48 hrs and adjusted everything and let me take a look at it. They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. I would choose mid-state basements for any basement project I had. Please use my review to know that mid-state basement systems will do the job the right way and how you need it to be done.
