  • Buckeye Sanitary Service
The 2 guys that drained the septic were very informative and did an excellent job. They found the old caps very quickly and were fantastic. The guy that installed the caps, not so much. After he left, I had to poke around the caps to get the dirt to settle and then filled in the gaps left behind. I understand the end of the day, "Miller time", but I paid almost $300 to re-do what he didn't!! Not good servic

  • Buckeye Plumbing and Property Solutions
Everything went wonderful. They took pride in every aspect of the job. Said "if we are putting our name stamp on it, it must be done correct". While doing the job, we added other work to it and they did the work right along with the other job. Being an older house, a major prob was found and the very next day it was top priority to fix. We found a lifelong plumber and will never need to call around for anyone else. We have already referred them to family and friends and we have the upmost confidence in their work

  • Complete Septic
Everything went well. They were right on time, professional, kind. Shaun Neal was awesome and when the sewer lines were still clogged he offered further services with a discount. Another employee came out shortly after, unclogged the lines and I could not have been happier. I highly recommend them and will be using them again

  • SepTeK Septic Tank Tank Services
Top notch experience from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and quick. They offered next day service but I had to put it off a couple of days. Derek arrived on time, went right to work and finished in about an hour including complete cleanup. The price was less than I paid five years ago to another company. I'll use them again

  • SepTeK Septic Tank Tank Services
My experience went great! I had read many reviews in which Danny was mentioned. I was hoping I would get Danny to do our septic system inspection. Sure enough, it was Danny that showed up. What an amazing guy! Very kind, helpful, and took every opportunity to teach me what I needed to know about septic systems. He gave our system a thumbs-up. Danny and his assistant did a great job. We will look at using Septek for our future septic system needs. We were able to use an Angie's List coupon for our inspection, which made it a great rate

Danny is WONDERFUL! He is a great educator and helped me understand how best to care for the septic system. He pumped the tank and explained the working of the system to me. He is a great service provider and I give him my highest recommendation.

Septic Tank Service FAQ

  1. What are the signs your septic tank is full?

Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.

  2. How often should a septic tank be serviced?

Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. The size of your septic tank, the number of people living in your home, and your average water usage will all impact how often your septic tank needs to be serviced.

  3. What are the most common causes of septic tank failure?

Answer: The most common cause of septic tank failure is improper maintenance. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.

  4. How much does it cost to pump a septic tank?

Answer: The cost to pump a septic tank is $400 on average or about $0.30 per gallon. The size of your septic tank, as well as local labor costs, will impact the cost of pumping your septic tank. Most septic tanks are between 600 and 2,000 gallons in size, meaning the average cost range is between $180 to $600.

  5. How much does it cost to install a septic system?

Answer: The cost to install a septic tank system is between $3,060 and $9,810, on average. The size of the septic tank you choose, the land you’re installing it on, the type of system you choose, and local labor costs will all influence the total cost of installing a septic system. Anaerobic septic tanks (those that don’t need oxygen) typically cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Aerobic systems, which utilize oxygen to activate bacteria and are popular on smaller properties, usually cost between $10,000 and $20,000.

  6. How long does a septic system last?

Answer: When septic systems are well maintained, they can last up to 30 years or more. If a septic system isn’t properly maintained, such as when it isn’t pumped regularly, it may malfunction and require costly repairs or a premature replacement. In general, septic tank pumping is recommended every 3 to 5 years to ensure the septic system lasts as long as possible.
