"An eight foot section of PVC fence was taken down buy a very large branch. He was able to repair it to like new condition. I sent him many pictures with dimensions and he was able to put it back together without having to replace it with a new panel. The fence I had was a discontinued style. He saved me money and didn't have to replace it with something that would not match. I'd recommend him to anyone.

"They did not do the prep work very well but were great at putting the paint on the wall. Their pricing was reasonable as well. The quality of their paint job was good and I was satisfied with their service."

"It was amazing. It was a very stressful time and event and Tim Aurand was cool, calm and collected. He is an honest, hardworking man and I feel very fortunate to have had that particular employee/franchisee assigned to my claim.
He did everything he promised to do; called when he said he would; arrived and left when he said he would.
I would call Tim for assistance for any job of this sort.

"It went absolutely great!! Dennis was at my house within one hour of our initial conversation and had an estimate to me within 2 hours! They were professional, efficient and mindful of our 2 dogs. They cleaned up when they were finished and took all of the debrie. I've already got plans for my next project with Sustainable Designs!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Vegetable gardens can easily become a convenient food bank for your local animal population, whether it’s squirrels stealing fruit or rabbits munching on freshly grown veggies. If you want to keep those critters out, it helps to put a fence around your vegetable garden that’s at least a couple of feet tall to deter any animals from getting past it. Just make sure your fence doesn’t interrupt the amount of sunlight your garden needs to thrive.

The best fence option for you depends on your property, budget, and style preferences, but a corrugated metal fence could be a good option if you want something durable yet low-maintenance. Unlike wood, corrugated metal won’t fall prey to rot or pest damage, and the metal can be recycled after its life as a fence comes to an end.

Maintain your wattle fence by inspecting it at least twice per year for loose weaving and degrading branches. Replace any seriously degraded sections, ensure water drains properly around the posts, and trim any sprouting branches if you used green wood. If you notice the weave loosening, you can often tighten it by gently pushing down on the top branches. You can also apply a natural wood preservative every two to three years to extend the fence's lifespan.

If you’re part of a homeowners association (HOA), you’ll need to speak with them regarding your fence repairs prior to starting work. Sometimes, you’ll need HOA approval to start repairs and ensure that the completed project meets their standards. In other cases, direct approval might not be required to start the project. Speaking with your HOA first will help avoid any unnecessary fines and headaches.

Making a homemade pallet fence involves marking out the fence line and leveling the ground along it. Then, install metal or wooden fence posts that you slide the pallets on top of (two posts per pallet). Fasten them together with 2x4 wood boards that act as an extra layer, keeping the pallet fence secure.
