"The initial work seemed OK, but it quickly became clear that there was still water leaking through the basement walls. After several phone calls, an employee returned to inspect the walls and agreed that the exterior work needed to be redone. I pointed out that plastic pipes had been left exposed in my yard, without drainage to the street. He agreed that this wasn't acceptable. I called multiple times to set up repairs. My calls were not returned. I obtained the number of Joey, the production manager, spoke with him after several attempts, and sent him detailed texts and photos. No return visit materialized. Over the course of the next several months, I called the company multiple times. They actually visited my home a total of 9 more times, but they showed up without a crew, with one guy and a shovel, or saying they didn't have the equipment for the job. Finally a single employee with a shovel appeared, unscheduled, buried the pipes, and said he corrected the plumbing from the sump pump. Unfortunately, he didn't connect the pipes, and the pop up is 8 feet from my porch. Now a fountain erupts from the drain along side the house, and gallons of water discharge along the basement wall, as well as from the pop up. The soil along the foundation has eroded, and after a rain there is standing water for days in front of my porch. This brand new problem has lead to the interior walls originally water damaged, to become wet again, and a wall that was NEVER even damp before is now soaked, and the dry lock paint has bubbled up. Recently a manager came to look at the situation, and said I would be notified of when the repairs would take place. A couple of weeks later, I called, and managed to get the work scheduled. A crew is to come out June 5th. I however, have ABSOLUTELY NO CONFIDENCE THAT THE WORK WILL BE PROPERLY COMPLETED AND DAMAGE THAT THE COMPANY HAS CAUSED WILL BE REPAIRED. After 18 months of excused, shoddy workmanship, untrained employees that have made matters worse, and now new damage, I am beyond frustrated and angry."

"Called ZCI residential for a siding replacement quote on February 3rd, 2021. • I’m told that once payment is received, work will begin in about 3 weeks. • Payment is sent in and the check is cashed • Endless phone calls and text messages drag on for several months. I hear 3-5 week estimated install about 5 times. • In July I call ABC siding and the rep tells me they haven’t manufactured our chosen siding in 3 months and the estimated arrival of this particular siding is January 2021. • I call ZCI and tell them, they tell me I can find it somewhere else and it will definitely be cheaper and they will give me back the difference. • I find siding at Menards that is cheaper and will be delivered in 3 days instead of 6 months • A week goes by before I get an answer back and I am told the siding I originally ordered magically came in…. • The crew installs the siding. I have to manage the install from over 2 hours away because the crew does not speak English and the communication line between myself and project managers is convoluted. Multiple installation issues are addressed including driveway asphalt damaged from a ladder, a light that I declined to have installed which got installed by someone who obviously is not qualified to do so, a new rug that was ruined, an awning that is now laying on the ground that was supposed to be disposed of and a tripped breaker to a deep freeze full of food that spoils. • The install is finally done 10 months later. • I am asked to schedule a walk around with the “crew leader”. I schedule it and he never shows. • I am told the next day they will come by the following afternoon and once again, they don’t show and I can’t get a response or an ETA. NEVER AGAIN."
