Customers say: Quality work

"I had a smooth and professional experience with Holy Roller Painting. I had several contractors say they would replace/repair my bathroom floor but none ever showed up. This went on for a couple of months. I saw this company advertised on HomeAdvisor, called them one day, and they were here the next day. The crew was professional and knowledgeable and did an outstanding job for a fair price. They had time left before Jim Cole, the mgr. returned to do a final inspection.. In that time they repaired my front screen door for no extra charge. If you are looking for reliability and professionally completed work, you could do no better than to hire this company. I will hire them again if needed and highly recommend them."

"We were in the process of having a new kitchen faucet installed in our home when we discovered, after having the old faucet removed, that the pre-drilled existing holes in our granite countertop were not large enough for the new faucet. Out of all the companies contacted, Lind was the only one not hesitant to do the job, even though we knew it wasn't a very lucrative opportunity for them. They were out to our house within a few hours and did an incredible job. Because of their customer service, quality and 'no job too small' attitude, I will definitely consider them in the future for our granite needs."

"

Dan was very professional and kept all his appointments.  He was very meticulous and made sure I was completely satisfied with the job he had completed.  He even volunteered to fix a loose till in the laundry room without my asking him.  The tiles look great and I have received several compliments from friends who visit.

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

The cost to repair a stone countertop typically ranges from $200 to $800. The final price depends on several factors, including the type and severity of the damage, the type of stone, and labor costs. Minor issues like small cracks, chips, or scratches are on the lower end of the cost spectrum, while more significant damage that requires resurfacing, refinishing, resealing, or custom color matching will be more expensive.

Most repairs take 2-4 hours. Extensive repairs or full refinishing may require additional time, typically up to a full day.

You most likely purchased a quartz countertop because it won't stain or etch like marble. However, etching can still happen depending on the quality of the quartz and whether it is repeatedly cleaned with harsh chemicals or exposed to acidic spills. Remember, while quartz is more resistant than natural stone, just like Superman when faced with Kryptonite, it is not indestructible.

Quartzite countertops are porous, meaning that liquids can seep into the stone and stain them. You’ll need to seal them before installing and resealing annually, depending on use and stone material. Sealing will help prevent stains and etching. On the other hand, you don’t need to seal quartz and other engineered stone countertops since they aren’t porous.

You can cut countertops without chipping by using your saw correctly and having a new fine-toothed blade. You can also put masking tape on the front of the countertop material across the cut line and cut from front to back. However, it is very hard to cut countertops without chipping them, especially if they are made of stone or more fragile materials like laminate. The best advice is to know how to use the equipment, use the correct cutting method for the material, cut from back to front, move slowly, and practice on scrap material first.
