"We had extensive water damage to the front porch and Rob and his crew replaced and rewrapped the entire support beams and posts. They saved my roof from collapsing. We are very happy with the final results. We will definitely hire HHC construction again for any future projects."

"I bought a 35 yr old house last January and had Shawn do several projects (vent basement crawlspace to cut condensation, put floor across garage attic storage space, replace all window weather stripping, several other things). Shawn is great to work with: prompt polite, hard working, knowledgeable. I highly recommend his work"

"Mr. Kington came to my residence to see in person what the project would entail. Mr. Kington was very professional and courteous. I needed a hand rail mounted on the wall in my attach garage leading into the house for my father. I am pleased with the work product."

"Ben was very thorough in his work and honest ,we enjoyed him and his help. We did a whole house remodel. They were on time and discussed every detail with us and shared his advise if he felt I might be making the wrong choice which was very helpful. The wood look tile floor was a huge job and he worked around us so we could stay here till last minute. It is beautiful the kitchen counter tops and backsplash and my shower he tiled are beautiful as well. We recommend him highly all his work is excellent. We highly recommend Ben and Kin remodeling for anything you need."

Treehouse Builders questions, answered by experts

Yes, proper grounding rods and conductors are essential for an effective system.

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

When designing an attached greenhouse, several factors should be considered. These include the orientation and positioning of the greenhouse to maximize sunlight exposure, the structural integrity of the connection to the house, sufficient insulation to regulate temperature, proper ventilation for airflow, and adequate space for plants and pathways. If you’re restricted because of your budget, go with a simpler design to maximize the use of your money.

Yes, with proper heating or cooling systems and energy-efficient glazing.

One handy thing about whole-house dehumidifiers is, once installed, you don’t have to worry about placement or changing the dehumidifier’s position. But if you are using a portable dehumidifier, we suggest keeping it away from walls, vents, and furniture. It needs a central, unobstructed spot with access to lots of air to do its job.
