"I called on a Thursday evening and was trying to schedule urgently before our house showing the following Tuesday and it was about to be Easter weekend. Someone called me back immediately and said they could provide service that quickly and that someone would connect with me Friday morning. Someone did and was able to schedule a quote that afternoon. We didn't end up doing the service because we weren't anticipating the cost of what is was and didn't think the service was really needed in the end. The entire team was very honest, professional, and responded very quickly with any question I had. They were available what seemed to be 24/7. Although we didn't have the work done in the end, I would definitely go back to them in the future and recommend their services.

"Jaime responded to my voicemail immediately, promptly traveled over 15 miles to give us an estimate, and then started the job as soon as we were ready. He was extremely productive from the beginning to end of each work day, always asked for my input prior to modifying any details, and was forthcoming about pricing, materials, and labor. Jaime was a pleasure to have in my home - he treated it like his own. He kept both "inside" and "outside" shoes and swapped them repeatedly all day to ensure he did not track in any dirt. He organized his tools and supplies in a neat pile at the end of every work day. Far and away, he is the most conscientious worker I have ever had in my home. I will definitely hire him for any future projects!"

"They set a couple of different traps and it took several tries over the period of about 2 weeks, but did eventually catch the raccoon that was in my attic.  The final charges were exactly as quoted.  The end result was good and the problem animal was taken away for disposal.  Overall they were nice people to work with.  They provided the service as promised, and I have no complaints about the service provided.   If I needed to hire this type of service again, I would not hesitate to call Patrick's.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

DIY is possible, but professional services ensure even removal, safety compliance, and proper cleanup.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.

Sandblasting refers to the process of cleaning a surface using compressed air and aggregate. Soda blasting is the gentlest type of this method, but it differs from sandblasting that uses mineral or other aggregate, since sodium bicarbonate breaks apart more easily than other forms of blast media and, therefore, cannot be reused.
