"Ron responded quickly when I had a water leak in my basement from a previous french drain that was done in 1989. Ron's sons were prompt, efficient and explained everything. They cleaned the drain, sump hole and the sediment under the freezer as well as fixing the problem area. They also honored the original warranty due to the fact that their father did the original work when he owned the "Sure-Way"!!! I appreciate their honesty, their workmanship and work ethic!!! Thank you for a job well done!!"

"I’d highly recommend them. I’ve used them for mold remediation. They had a piece of equipment that they installed that they have had to replace with brand new units twice, because the manufacture had sold them defective articles. It was at no cost. When I call to get an estimate, the owner of the company himself came out. He spent an hour/hour and a half on looking over everything, with me. I showed him what my concerns were and he showed me the actual problem that existed and what would need to be done. He gave me a blow by blow estimate, a written estimate as well as verbal. He told me the time frame that would be required and who would be here, just everything. From that point on we did hire him and everything that he had told me initially was true. His employees showed up on time. They were very professional and courteous. They completed the job in the time frame he gave me. They cleaned up after themselves. It was a wonderful experience and he had come out to visually see the work that they had completed, to give his staff of approval. I would really recommend them to anybody."

"Neverwet truly stands by their lifetime transferable warranty! I purchased my home last summer. The previous owners had installed the Neverwet basement system. This winter I experienced drainage issues in my front yard. I called Neverwet and spoke with Michele who was very pleasant and understanding. Kevin, one of the owners promptly came over to evaluate the situation. He determined the drain line from the sump pump needed to be extended and connected to the storm sewer. Kevin obtained the necessary permits from the Village and his crew (Jordan and Stirlling perform the work at no additional cost. I am very appreciative of the quick response and excellent customer service from start to finish of the project. I highly recommend NeverWet. They stand behind their warranty and do quality work. You will not be disappointed. Thank you NeverWet."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

There are several steps you can take to prevent your AC drain from clogging. This includes cleaning the drain line at least every three months, changing the filter every one to three months, and getting your AC serviced annually. Also, if any problems arise with your AC, hire an HVAC technician to deal with them ASAP.

Most clogs are resolved quickly, often within an hour. More complex issues requiring pipe disassembly might take longer.

It’s possible to snake minor drain clogs yourself, provided they sit within a foot or two of the drain itself, but it’s usually best to hire a professional plumber regardless. Even experienced DIYers have a high chance of accidentally pushing the clog further into the drain using a drain snake or another tool, so hiring a plumber is the ideal course of action. A professional plumber can use camera equipment to locate and identify the clog, and remove the entire blockage to fix your issue permanently.

The cost to repair a main sewer line clog is about $3,110 on average. The average cost range is  $1,310 to $4,950, but it can go as low as $215 and as high as $9,300 or more. The cost factors for this repair include the severity of the clog, pipe accessibility, video inspection, removal method, permits, pipe material, labor rates in your area, and time of year. Repairs made from outside during the winter can be more difficult due to the frozen ground or during the spring if the ground is saturated from a lot of rain and snow melt.

An active cleaning agent and a drain snake is the best way to clean a main sewer line. You can purchase a regular or enzyme drain cleaner or make a DIY drain cleaner with baking soda. Use your chosen solution at least once a month or as needed to keep your sewer line clear.
