"Ron responded quickly when I had a water leak in my basement from a previous french drain that was done in 1989. Ron's sons were prompt, efficient and explained everything. They cleaned the drain, sump hole and the sediment under the freezer as well as fixing the problem area. "I had a very good experience with them. They lost an iron. They took it off the cellar door and put it some place and have never been able to find it. We had to buy a new one. They were pricey. The work that they did caused a lot of fumes. It was January so I couldn't really ventilate the house. I really think that they should've told me that right upfront."

"The project: Frank's Basement Systems installed new drain tile around about 75% of my basement. They also added their BrightWall in a few areas. Pros: First of all, the project was completed, and I'm very pleased to say that the drain tile seems to be doing it's job. When it rains I'm not seeing any water in the formerly-problematic corner of the basement, so that's a big success. I'll add that our salesperson Ray was an absolute all-star to work with. He did not try to upsell us, and he stayed in communication after the job to make sure we were satisfied. He really made us feel like he wanted what was best for us and our home, and we tremendously appreciated that. Cons: The whole crew called out on the second day what was supposed to be a two-day job, so it ended up taking much longer than we hoped. That second day was a Friday, so we were stuck with the basement a mess over the weekend and into the next week, which was tough. The drain tile had to go under the stairs to the basement and those stairs were absolutely demolished and had to be replaced. They told me while they were on-site that it was going to be my responsibility to replace them which left me without the bottom three stairs to my basement for a couple of weeks, but ultimately they connected me with a contractor who put new stairs in for us. During the job they accidentally caused a leak in one of my steam pipes, but they also helped me find a company that would replace that as well. Lastly, they left the basement a dusty mess. In fact, we still have to wear specific shoes into the basement because even after vacuuming and mopping a few times, it is still so dusty, and that dust gets tracked to the rest of our house if we leave our "basement shoes" on and go anywhere else. Overall: Frank's gave us a good price and, again, we sincerely appreciated Ray's guidance before and after the job. The most important thing is that the drain tile is working, so despite a few challenges we are satisfied with the outcome. We will be calling Ray back in a couple of years when we need to do the rest of the basement...hopefully some of the dust will be gone by then!!"

"I had sort of a "crisis situation" with my kitchen sink... these fine gentlemen cleared out their schedule to squeeze me in. They did everything they promised (despite not having the truck with their plumbing gear in it, because they were working on another job involving electrical), did it professionally, cost a lot less than I expected... generally, an all-around positive experience! Nice guys, too- which always helps. If I ever need a general contractor (and it seems these guys do pretty much everything), I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again"

"Healthy Spaces just finished the project we had to waterproof the basement and remove the mold. We had seen a few other contractors besides this company and are very pleased we chose to hire Mark (owner). He didn't give alot of "bs" as a couple other contractors did. Very genuine person. Very knowledgeable, thorough and easy to work with. The crew was great. All were very friendly. They left the whole project area neat and clean. They power washed our driveway ! They even chased down my little dog and rescued him when i was out on errands one day and he decided to get thru the plastic they'd put up around the basement doorway and proceed to run across the street. I could've come home to a tragedy but they saved his life. Busy road sometimes, with trucks and speeders. The cost was not the very cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. Money well spent. We'd hire them again and definitely recommend them whole heartedly. No hesitation."
