"I received service in January 2021 for a problem I was having with my hot water heating system. Problems were solved after replacing some components and I was not happy with the overall outcome of the way the repairs went. I paid for the service and everything was working but I felt like I had been given a wrong diagnosis based on details I will not get into. As a result, I gave an unfavorable rating grade. Recently I was contacted by one of the owners to discuss my experience. Ray and I had a long conversation and came to a reconsideration of the bill I paid. Ray has always been extremely pleasant to converse with and at the conclusion offered to refund the complete charges for the services in question. I never felt like I was taken advantage of, but was not comfortable with the process of the diagnosis and the resulting charges. I was left wondering whether other options, or tests should have been considered but I did not want to seem like I was questioning the technician opinions or skills. I new his skills were on an expert level but that does not necessarily mean that an error could not occur. At any rate I am going to try to remove my original rating and wholeheartedly give 5 stars across the board for Polar heating and plumbing. The fact that I was contacted to discuss my concerns and given a refund when I was not even anticipating this is a testament in itself that they are truly concerned with their customers opinions and ultimately the outcome and status of their work. I will continue to consider them with any needs I have in the future and am removing my earlier rating for them. Businesses that go to this level of customer care are, in my opinion, few and far between. Thanks Ray and all your staff for making me feel much better about the experience I had. I look forward to working with you in the future and I will highly recommend your business to anyone I can."

"Mario did an outstanding job in our new home in Rhinebeck. The job involved the interior or our 3 bedroom , 2.5 bath home. In addition to painting Mario performed carpentry work around windows and doors. We also replaced all the interior doors and hardware. Mario personally removed the old ones, took them to the lumber company supplying the new doors and had them sized appropriately. The job took him approximately 3 weeks, during which he provided daily updates. Mario delivers a quality product, with enthusiasm and exceptional customer service."

"Aleks started on day agreed to and completed 90 percent of original job, and did some extra work outside of original scope. He did the work professionally and was excellent at sugesting solutions to unusual problems. In addition he told us about errors done by another contractor, so that contracts returned to make the necessary fixes. Only downside was toward the end of the process (more than two weeks of consistent work) a few small elements were not completed. Also, one minor point of plumbing was not as good as the rest of his work, which was excellent standards. We waited months to make our review to make sure there were no hidden problems. But it's gone well.
