The new porch roof went up quickly, with all three plus Norb working on it. Nice tin roof on top. They cleaned up completely after themselves. They haven't yet started on the skylight, but when I realized that I needed to have that replaced, I immediately called Norb. He is honest, gives a good estimate, doesn't creep over it, and he insists that things been done perfectly. (He's looked at a few things around the house and expressed displeasure at the way things were done by a previous contractor.) Norb is also just a really nice person. I will always contact him first when something needs to be done

He does decks, hardwood floors; I mean he does everything. He actually built the whole second floor of my house and refinished the whole first floor of my house; he is phenomenal. He helped me with my deck. As far as carpentry and general construction like that, he is a single guy; he is not expensive, but he is damn good. I am not going to find a harder work or more impeccable work whether it is refinishing, hardwood floors, putting in tile, putting in floors, putting in drywall, or painting. I cannot give a better recommendation. I had an excellent experience with him. He is good. I have never had any complaints regarding this guy. He is very honest; when he is my house, I don’t have to worry about him stealing around. I would wholeheartedly recommend this guy to anybody without any reservations. I am going to use him in the future if I need to. His son is working with him now, and he is certainly going to do my bedroom in the next couple of weeks

- IQS CONSTRUCTIONI was very pleased with the estimate from Jim Yarbrough (owner) - it was full of detail (he asked questions to be sure he was giving me what I wanted) and much less expensive than a similar quote (with much less detail) from another contractor. The work they did was fantastic - solid, professional quality - and the extra touches are really nice. For instance, Jim found some copper caps for the posts that matched the solar lights I already had in other areas. He also made some really nice railings, took the time to sand down the edges of the deck planks to give them a nice finished look, and he raked the soil back in around the sidewalk after the concrete set. The project took a bit longer than I'd hoped - there was a break in the middle where Jim got caught up in other stuff - but I was more than satisfied with the apology he gave me, and the quality of his work is so high that I would absolutely hire him again

"Excellent! Norb was quick to respond to my request and actually visited my house on same day that I requested a quote. I told him I needed it done in 2 weeks and he was able to fit me in - doing most of the work himself. The result was great - professionally done and looks like it has always been there.
