Allan was wonderful to work with. He was fantastic about communicating with us and did a stellar job of replacing my dining room floor and patching my walls after we had a pipe burst. We'd absolutely hire him again!

Allan is a highly skilled, hard-working, smart, reliable and honest contractor who attends to details—and has a great sense of humor. He did most of the work himself but also hired and worked well with sub-contractors. He started with our garage, creating plans for a remodel with the help of an architect and then precisely implemented those plans. He went on to demolish our old kitchen (to the studs and sub-floor) and rebuild it, according to architectural blueprints. The job required reframing three windows, building walls, putting in a new fir floor, installing cabinetry and a very heavy but beautiful hood/vent, installing appliances, tiling and painting walls, window frames and a box-beam ceiling. A complicated part of the job was building a permanent buffet with rounded corners and tempered glass inserts which he did well. He also built walls and laid flooring in our laundry room. We feel so lucky to have found and worked with Allan, and we’re hoping to be able to work with him again on future projects.

Allan the owner operator of Mimos Remodeling LLC did a great job for us. He showed up as agreed and made some sound observations as to what needed to be done and provided a fair estimate. The workmanship was superior and his attention to detail was evident. I plan to use him for all future needs and have recommended him to family members here in Seattle. Mimos gets 5 stars.

Allan did a kitchen remodel for us in our condo. He demo'd our old kitchen, and installed new vinyl flooring, cabinets, and countertops. A few highlights: 1) From the initial call, Allan was quick to respond with pricing, contract, scope of work, etc. We were very happy with how professional and reliable he was throughout the full project - scoping the work, assisting with material selection, to the actual remodel. 2) While onsite, I asked Allan to make other modifications to our condo that were out of scope. Allan was fair and reasonable, and we were quickly able to agree on a price for the additional work. Allan did not nickel and dime on every little adjustment, and it greatly improved the overall experience of working with Allan. 3) Allan is very customer focused. He gave insights and recommendations into materials, design choices, and solutions - and it was very helpful to have a trusted, professional opinion on different matters. He guided us with recommendations on flooring, layout changes, etc that was very helpful, and was clear in communicating the options without making me feel like he was trying to up-sell more work. I felt that Allan was truly wanting to help us create the kitchen we wanted and not pushing his own agenda. It was super helpful to have him propose different options as we weighed different factors (budget, utility, decor, etc) to make our selections. 4) The quality of work was excellent. Allan and his team are committed to doing a good job. When we pointed out areas that we were concerned about or anxious with, Allan made sure to always make any adjustments we asked for and made sure it was just to our liking. At the end of the day, we are very happy with how the project turned out. Our new kitchen looks amazing, and we would absolutely work with Allan and Mimos Remodeling again on future projects. Allen did a great job with the remodel! One of my primary job functions at work is to manage various pipeline construction projects as a project manager so I work with many different contractors. This is also the second house I've had major remodeling done. Though this isn't a pipeline construction project, the interaction was pretty much the same. After getting 5 different quotes from some of the top-rated contractors, revising the scope of work a few times and haggling for the best price, I can tell you that you're going to get the biggest bang for your buck with this Contractor. As with most customers, I had a tight deadline with a narrow budget, and required quality work. When it comes to project management, there are typically 3 project goals. 1. On Time 2. Within Budget 3. High Quality of Work Typically you can successfully get 2 of the 3 but with Allen, I felt like I pretty much got all 3. Allen and his crew worked diligently from start to finish and even worked some weekends to meet the deadline. He was personable, very flexible when I needed to change the scope of work and didn't nickel and dime me for every little change. Though there were some additional costs, it was very reasonable for the extra scope that was added. Based on all this, I would highly recommend Allen for any home remodel projects you might have. There were only 2 reasons why I initially considered not to go with Allen as it made me question the legitimacy of his business. 1. His quote had many misspelled words and grammar issues. 2. He didn’t seem comfortable with drawing up a legal contract, so I ultimately drew one up as I insisted we have a contract. These two reasons gave me reason for pause but I decided that the reasons don’t really reflect his craftsmanship abilities nor his work ethic or honesty which I believe to be more important for this line of work. Ultimately, I’m glad I was able to look pass these reasons as it resulted in great work that was completed on time and within budget!

Allan did a great job converting our loft to a bedroom. He is very patient and cares so much for customer satisfaction. He is very professional and he even helped me with small fixes around the house which were not in the contract. He went above and beyond in completing our project on time and added nice little touches (picture wall with framing, enhancing an existing display shelf) which he himself suggested and went ahead and did it. If you need a honest, professional, hard working guy whom you can trust, he is the one. I highly recommend him.

We hired Mimos to repair extensive flood damage to our home, and while they were here, we asked them to bid on rebuilding our front porch steps which were old and rotting. They did a great job and completed the job without slowing down the other work they were doing in the home. Our steps look way better than the old ones did and it makes the house much more welcoming. They took a lot of pride in their quality of craftsmanship and materials. They arrived promptly and finished the work when they said they would. We've received a lot of complements on our new porch!

They did an excellent job and they were very fast. The team arrived each day when they said they would and they worked quickly. They estimated it would take 5 days to complete the work (which spanned 4 rooms) and they completed the work on the 5th day as expected. Price and quality were great - would hire again.
