Bumblebee Painters

Terrible Experience I waited two years to write this review in the hope that Bumblebee Paint would correct my situation. But unfortunately they have not and have left with a terrible mess. Two years ago I had them apply a semi transparent stain to my new deck. I had the deck built the year before and left it sit a year as instructed. They had me select a color from the product they use. I choose a lite tan. It was beautiful when completed however not even four months after it was done it started peeling and having black streaks through it. He did come out toward the end of the summer last year and tried cleaning off the black, which only made the peeling situation so much worse. Now I am left with a deck that is peeling so bad it looks ten years old or more. This is a very large deck that wraps around the entire back of my house and looks terrible. Bumblebee painters started the job on time in spring as requested. The owner, Steele Steffy, came frequently to the job site and was always open to questions of all our homeowners. There were many more boards in our siding that needed to be replaced than originally anticipated, but they did a very good job in replacing them all, even when this required to work  longer on our project as planned They even accommodated special requests, like a color change shortly before the painting started. All the windows were thoroughly covered when paint or stain was sprayed.  Our windows did not need any extra cleaning after the job was done. Everything was carefully cleaned after the work.
The workers were friendly and polite and small mistakes were made up as soon they were noticed by the company or our
residents.

I wanted to have our upstairs bedroom repainted as a surprise for my husband while he was out of town recently, and I'm just thrilled with the work that Bumblebee Painters did: not only does the room look great, but they were also punctual, professional, friendly, clean, and totally willing to work with my limited time frame--even staying late to finish up so the room would be ready in time. And all this for a relatively minor job! I wish I could give them higher than an A.

Crew chief was excellent; workers a bit of a pickup team. Scheduling a bit funky, as the firm was obviously overcommitted and we had a short completion schedule (which was known at the time of the bid acceptance). I'd have them do similar work again; next door neighbor sufficiently impressed to seek possible quote. Overall, an excellent outcome!
