The porch has completely transformed our living experience. It is THE go-to place for all of our meals; where we read in the evening, and where we go whenever we are looking to relax. It also brings fresh air inside, as we routinely leave the door to the house open, creating a nice breeze and open access to the outdoor living space. We picked The Deck and Fence Company due to the ease with which we were able to communicate with the service rep, the options provided to us, and the flexibility in getting to a space that was perfect for our needs. The crew was amazing as well -- very professional, courteous, and did great quality work. We highly recommend them!!

The team was very professional from Sales to those who worked on the project. Reasonable pricing and product is amazing. We did a lot of shopping around......Save yourself time... if u want a deck, go with The Deck and Fence Co. You won’t regret it!!!!!

They were responsive from beginning to end. They provided a realistic timeline when we signed the contract and everything was done on schedule. The deck builders worked hard and efficiently even during the cold temps. The project manager found solutions to some snags along the way. The Deck and Fence company is a great business. I have been doing business with the Deck and Fence company for over 10 years. The Deck and Fence company installed a composite deck at my home 10 years ago. As a repeat customer, I reached out to get an estimate to have a brick patio installed. Chris and team were very responsive and met my design needs. Chris and team under promised and over delivered, as my patio was finished ahead of schedule. I recommend the Deck and Fence company and they take care of repeat customers.

They did a fantastic job and the guys that handled the porch project took their time and was very meticulous in details in making sure that everything was in place. They didn’t rush and was on time every morning for work. There was a slight hiccup in the materials but knowing that during a pandemic, the company was on top of notifying us on material updates. We were not able to get the specific flooring that we wanted after the vendor said that they’re not sure when that specific color flooring will come in. They gave us other options to pick another color and made sure the ones that we picked was guaranteed to be delivered. The company went out of their way to fulfill the project timeframe so there wouldn’t be anymore delays. Would highly recommend them! Thank you Deck and Fence Company!

The project went smoothly, on time and budget. Joe Dembeck, our salesman, was extremely knowledgeable, thorough and responsive. He spent a lot of time with us discussing our options, providing us with all the answers to our questions, and he keep us updated through production. The crew that built our deck was terrific, very professional and courteous. We love the final product, and we are so happy that used them. We highly recommend them!

Construct a 20x20 Composite deck with steps & vinyl railings after tearing down old pressure treated deck.

Old deck was removed and new deck was built in same footprint as old. Workers were very polite and friendly. They did a very nice job. There were a few items on the punch out list that needed to be addressed and they were corrected. Project manager communicated well and kept us up to date on the project.

Mark Roberts and the building crew were excellent! They removed our 384 sq. foot wood deck completely and installed a composite deck the same size. It is absolutely beautiful and we are getting compliments from everyone! Mark did a really good job inspecting our existing structure, explaining things to us, drawing up ideas for what we wanted (we originally wanted a deck/patio combo but the county wouldn't approve the permit), and helping us get a site survey. Mark came back after the county denied our original permit and did all the paperwork over again to get a full deck. He was very helpful and accommodating. The crew that worked on the project were very professional and worked very quickly. They did an amazing job and cleaned up after themselves. There were no surprise costs and the job was done in about a week and a half. We have had to deal with some very poor contractors in the past when it came to our deck so we were skeptical but Deck and Fence Company did better than we expected. We wish they did more than just decks and fences so we could hire them for other jobs. I would recommend them 100%.

The new deck is beautiful. The construction crew was very efficient, professional, and friendly. The “back office”, from initial contact and sale to management during the project to closeout was excellent and very responsive. The materials are top notch; not inexpensive but we definitely feel we got what we paid for. We strongly recommend these people.

This job went great and we could not be happier. When we first met with Chris, he provided a very detailed drawing of what could be done and also made several suggestions that made the project perfect (aluminum railings, post and stair lights, etc..). We then met again to pick out the materials. Chris provided the actual deck planks that would be used, not just catalogs so we could actually see the colors and texture of the deck. The crew that actually did the deck work were great. Very nice and very professional. I cannot give them enough compliments. The deck turned out perfect. In summary, we are so happy with the way this project went. From the first meeting with Chris to the finished product. We have gotten nothing but rave reviews from our neighbors. I would recommend the Deck and Fence Company to anyone.

From start to finish we were very pleased with the performance of The Deck & Fence Co. Chris, our customer service rep, carefully walked us through the project, made useful design recommendations, and competently answered all our questions. Once work began, Jose, the project manager, kept us apprised of timelines and quickly responded to all inquiries. The on site crew were very professional, hard working, and did a great job with the installation. We couldn't be more pleased and would use this company again without hesitation.

Deck and Fence was actually the last deck builder we spoke to about building a deck and a patio underneath that would stay dry and usable during rain (thanks, Trex Rainscape!). They were different from the other builders we talked to in many ways. Unlike the others, on their first visit, Deck and Fence showed us many samples of the deck flooring, railing accessories and hardscape options we could choose from, as well as a fairly detailed to-scale diagram of how the deck and patio underneath would come together. Even better, the representative was able to show us pictures of the actual decks and patios they had built and that had the options and design we discussed. None of the others presented samples or had pictures, even after multiple visits. It was easy to close the deal because the pricing presented on the first visit was detailed enough for us to tweek what we wanted to fit into our budget and we had a very good idea of what the finished product would look like. They started building the deck within the time frame discussed and answered all of our questions about the materials, construction, permits and other details as the project progressed. Spending this money for an addition to our house was a big deal for us, but my wife and I never felt a "hard sell", just knowledgeable and honest answers. It's nice to have county inspections as the project progresses, but you have to have confidence in the builder and we did, initially, and it grew as we saw the addition take shape. In fact, a few weeks after it was complete, we decided on a second phase that would extend the patio and that was completed within the estimated time, as well. We especially appreciated the care the crew took with our underground irrigation system. The crew also showed attention to detail and were friendly and professional and left the back yard in good shape after both phases. We believe we got our money's worth here and we recommend them without reservation.

Our clearly experienced coordinator was Joe D, and he patiently took the time to explain everything in advance, We really appreciated his manner and attention to detail - he helped us understand the process and what to expect in a really great way. Then, the CREW was just wonderful - they worked extremely hard and I told them they were artists - am very impressed with their craftsmanship. I feel this deck could stand a hundred years! :) Seriously, we are very pleased. We had begun our search by talking to neighbors, and had found some who were NOT happy with their deck companies, so we are even more appreciative to have found these guys. 100% satisfaction.

Overall I had a wonderful experience. Starting with the salesman who assisted me. He was absolutely great; kept me well informed and ensured that everything was progressing. I have nothing but praise and compliments for him. The deck is gorgeous! They did an amazing job and I'm extremely happy with it. I was a bit disappointed at how long it took simply because it's a smaller deck to they only had one person building it. That individual, while very good and I'm happy with the final work, he was not very organized when it came to when he was going to show up at the house. When he was here, he worked extremely hard, 12 hours in the scorching heat every time he came, but he would tell me he was coming back the next day, and then he didn't and would come the following day and we never knew what time he would be here. I have to say though, that overall, because everything else went so well and the completed work is so fantastic, in the end it was more of a nuisance than a problem. I would still hire them again and I would absolutely recommend them!

Service from beginning to end was outstanding. Michael provided excellent suggestions on materials, etc. The deck crew started the project earlier than expected and completed the project in a little over a week's time (replacement of @350 sqft decking and railing with Timbertech, new stairs, additional posts, county inspections, etc.). The patio crew started the project a few days after most of the deck was completed and it took them about a week to complete (installed @ 200 sqft main patio with walkway, stair landing and retaining walls). Both crews were prompt, courteous and very diligent. We are very pleased with the new deck and patio...the craftsmanship shows!

It went surprisingly well for the size of the new deck. We had an old wooden deck that had to be removed. Our representative Michael was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. The office staff were accessible and always helpful and polite.

The folks at The Deck & Fence Company are top notch! My wife and I had a wonderful experience, and will happily work with them again in the future. Our old deck was falling apart, and the deck that was installed was outstanding! My deck is an enormous 480 sq feet, and the old deck was removed and the new deck was built, all in less than 4 days; incredible! Our sales consultant, Mr. Joe Dembeck, was very friendly, and explained all our options, provided recommendations, without a high-pressure sales gimmick. They handled every last detail, from the dumpster, debris removal, material delivery, county permits and inspections... I couldn't have asked for more! And the construction crew was friendly, hard-working and professional. Highly recommended!

Defective crappy wood was used in the construction of my contracted "Premium Wood" deck. Load bearing beams and many pieces of the wood used in the deck's construction have had deep splits and cracks since several weeks after completion. I have been contacting the Deck and Fence employees via email for almost 9 months (even an employee Jason who was apparently fired for his incompetence and unresponsive rudeness towards customers) and have received zero assistance in getting any of my concerns resolved... just a referral to the incompetent rude wood supplier and silence from Deck and Fence . The horizontal decking boards were also not spaced properly to allow for proper water drainage. This experience is unacceptable and my complaints are strikingly similar to other BBB complaints lodged against the same contractor on the BBB website by other customers. Angie's List would only allow me to upload 10 pictures or I would have uploaded way more since almost every piece of wood used has DEEP DEEP splits. I believe 9 months is above and beyond the time I should allow a contractor to remedy a situation especially after assuring me their customer service was top notch and there would be no problems. Rip Off. BTW - The crew was great. Sales and Customer Service ruined the entire experience.
