    We had a three-season room built on top of an existing deck. The owner was involved every step of the way. He came out for the initial consultation, and was around just about every day during construction to update us on progress and timelines. He and the construction crew were personable and upfront with any issues they encountered. During construction, the crew found significant wood rot and water damage left to us from a previous owner. They informed us of the damage, gave us some options, and performed the repairs themselves, all for what we considered a very reasonable price. We really appreciated the level of communication and them being forward about this, and are grateful for the repairs. The room is just what we envisioned, and we are very happy with the results. We would highly recommend Pro Home and Sunrooms. The one small thing we'd change would be the amount of communication we received prior to the work starting. Construction was delayed by COVID-19, not due to Pro Home and Sunrooms, and we had to reach out to the owner once our initial start date had come and gone for a new schedule

    We initially had them come out for an estimate on our roof. They were the only company of the three other estimates that said the roof could be repaired instead of having to replace the entire roof. I felt that their price was fair. We worked together in discovering how to go about each step of the process. We dealt directly with the owner, Jim. They appear to be a family owned company. They completed the work in about one week. He brought in a couple of workers to complete the roof and a specialist in carpentry. I purchased the large window, had it delivered, and they installed it. One side of the porch is almost all glass windows with a sliding glass door. They built a wall on the West side and installed a window in the wall. They put siding on the outside and insulation in the walls. Before, they enclosed the porch, we could barely use it in the winter and now we have plants out there that have survived. Jim was easily reachable by phone whenever I needed to get into communication with him. They did a good job with the project and we are pleased with the work that they did

    Overall, I'd give them a 97 out of 100%. If there's anything I think they could improve upon, it's more from an administrative aspect. They are a small company and their professionalism reflected a more casual professional "office" atmosphere. But let me balance that with a comment that when I called at 5:30 PM to say my back door wouldn't lock properly, both the contruction manager and project manager were ready, willing and able to come by that evening to fix it. And they did. On the other hand my sales person did not list (nor ever provide) me with a cell phone number or email address to contact him directly. This proved to be a bit inconvenient for me. There were differences of opinions on what was discussed during our initial and secondary project meeting and the notes of our discussions were not kept. They couldn't find my plot map to submit to the town for the permit and, we are still discussing one or two other items. This aside, they have taken action on the few things I brought to their attention and I am very pleased with with the results and their work. I would highly recommend using Fitch for your new building constructions.

Three years ago they did the porch lock, and I called them last week to check the lock as it was not working. They came and replaced it and did not charge me anything for it.     Fitch Construction Inc did a phenomenal job. They were very conscientious, they did great quality work, they were fantastic with the clean up, did everything on time, were very attentive, and the sunroom has been my favorite room since they did it. The work crew were very, very nice guys, tried to be unobtrusive, and were very good about not spreading their mess to the rest of the house. If you need to have people working in your house for several days Fitch Construction Inc was wonderful. The only setback was that the original quote when up a little bit because they saw some problems once they started the work but it was certainly not anything unreasonable. They were a little bit more pricey than some of your more generic sunroom companies but the quality was worth it. I really lucked out in choosing them and I'm very, very pleased

    We first met the folks from Marshall Exteriors at the Syracuse Home Show in March 2019. We spoke with Travis to explain our needs. The excitement he showed regarding our project matched our own excitement. Of course you expect Sales people to do their pitch to draw you in, but let me say that excitement Travis had lasted throughout every single meeting and conversation we had for the length of our project. He was out at our house taking pictures and talking to us more the very same day that we met him at the show and within a week he was back with his proposal. I was stunned by his speed and responsiveness. In comparison, another vendor we met at the Home Show came out to look at the house a few days later and we never heard from him again. After all the contracts were signed and we were on the schedule, it was a few short months before our project began. We were having almost all the windows in our house torn out and replaced with significantly larger windows. We went from small sliders to larger double hung windows. We also had a large roof built over our front porch, and the house sided with vinyl siding. The crews that worked on our house were great! I wish I could remember everyone's names to give them proper credit, but they all were extremely professional and friendly. They were working day in and day out through some pretty nasty weather. When other companies would have taken a "rain day", the Marshall crew was there. I was amazed at the speed at which they were able to complete the entire project. They also did a great job in cleanup. There were no piles of junk left for me to deal with when the project was complete. While that seams like something that all companies should do, I know for a fact that is not the case. We have been left big messes in the past. So for me this was huge. Last summer we needed a window replaced (one we hadn't done previously) and my first thought was to call Travis at Marshall. He came out to give us an estimate with that same enthusiasm as he had for our first project, even though replacing one window isn't nearly as exciting of a project. Since this was a replacement window, vs. new contraction, a majority of the work was done from the inside. The 2 employees who did the work were amazing! I believe Jordan was one of them. The window looks great and there wasn't a speck of dirt in the room from the work they did. This second project (single window replacement) was done in the midst of the COVID pandemic, and not once did I feel uncomfortable having either Travis or the crew in my house. We could not be happier with Marshall Exteriors and the work they did on our home. It looks like a brand new place and we absolutely love it. We are typically DIYers, but for any construction project beyond our skill, Marshall is our contractor of choice. I highly recommend Marshall Exteriors to anyone looking to do a home improvement project

    We were blessed when we bought our home 4 years ago that all the previous homeowners did an amazing job with maintenance and upgrades over the years. The only deficiency was that the home still had its original 30 year old windows. We knew from day one that we needed to replace them sooner than later. We saved up and finally called highly-recommended Comfort Windows last August. Our salesperson, Don, was very thorough and knowledgeable. He explained all our options in great detail without any pressure tactics. We chose the window line manufactured by Comfort Windows themselves in Syracuse. 20 windows, triple-paned, one layer of Low-E coating and argon filling. Our house is a traditional colonial so we stuck with the grids on the front but left them out in the rear. We even changed some windows to picture windows. Wow! What an amazing great decision. The light and views are just gorgeous. We also replaced a sliding door between the house and a sunroom addition. Comfort Windows are great quality and affordable. The craftsmanship is top notch. Great value for the product. Like many others acknowledged, our project was delayed by 3 months due to the pandemic. We were originally given a November installation time frame, but didn’t get them installed until February. The real heroes of this project were Paul and Chris. Temperatures in the teens, thick snowpack, heavy lake effect snow, nothing stopped these guys. They were very professional, polite, COVID conscious, and did quality workmanship through some really tough weather conditions. A few other guys popped in here and there to lend a hand, but I didn’t get to meet them. Paul and Chris were “our guys” and we welcomed them into our home like family. When all said and done, we absolutely love our new Comfort Windows. The energy efficiency ratings are spectacular and we can’t wait until we stick it to RG&E. We used a thermometer to check the difference. While it was 12-degrees outside, our original double-paned windows averaged 40 degrees on the face. Imagine, that’s like leaving multiple refrigerators wide open 24/7. The new Comfort Windows were 60 to 65 degrees on the face of the glass. What a difference! We actually had to turn down our thermostat because we were sweating at night. The windows are gorgeous and you can just tell that they were built to last well into the future. A great investment with no buyers remorse. You just can’t beat Comfort Windows. Don’t believe the hype of the overrated national brand. How can a window made to be “one size fits all” serve the climates of California, Florida, Arizona and the winters of New York? These windows are made in New York.
