"I just had them prune some trees, remove a big one, and grind down the stump, and I couldn’t be happier! The team was super friendly and professional. They did a fantastic job on the pruning, and the tree removal was quick and safe. The stump grinding was seamless, and they left my yard looking great. Overall, I highly recommend these guys for any tree work you need. Thanks for the awesome service!"

Small jobs welcome

"They came gave me an estimate. We set a day and time. They were on time. They did exactly what I wanted done. They gave us back the backyard that was taken over by a tree. I can now sit on my porch and see the sites. Had three bushes removed. I recommend Juan and his crew."

"Thomas, the Arborist was very knowledgeable and sensed immediately what needed to be done. My tree was sculpted to the shape it needed, and shored up with a cable to prevent it from toppling in heavy winds. The cleanup was perfect, as you would never have known that anything took place. I will continue to have them treat my trees and shrubs. Glad I found them."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

You need to remove all branches affected by Dutch elm disease. If your tree has several affected branches, you will probably need to remove the entire tree. First, consult a pro to be sure that you’ve correctly identified it as an elm tree. Make sure the tree is properly disposed of with a plastic covering or through debarking, chipping, or burning.

Absolutely. These steps are significantly easier, too, especially when it comes to preserving the root ball and moving the palm tree. However, you will want to make sure the tree has plenty of fertilizer to establish itself and start growing. Supports may also be more important, as it can take extra time for a potted palm to spread out its roots. If you are transferring a palm to another pot, you’ll want to move up a size or two to a larger pot. Make sure the pot has excellent drainage to keep the palm from getting waterlogged.

State and local laws vary, but in most cases, you are allowed to trim any branches from your neighbor's tree that cross your property line. However, it's important to ensure you do not damage the overall health of the tree in the process. Removing branches incorrectly can jeopardize the health of the tree and could lead to you being on the hook to replace it.

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

Yes, it’s okay to trim low branches on a tree, also known as limbing up or raising the crown. Essentially, you’ll trim the lower third of the tree (trunk) and leave the upper two-thirds of the tree (crown). Arborists recommend trimming 20% of a tree’s leaves per season for two to three seasons. Trimming low branches allows light to flow through the tree, increasing circulation and making the tree stronger and healthier.
