Unbeknownst to me, there was also has no insulation in the roof. I was given a very fair price to have all the rotted wood replaced and install insulation. Every roofing detail was covered and a new gutter provided. They cleaned up well and even spackled a few areas in the ceiling below (removal of decades old, rotted wood was brutal) affected by vibrations.
