Customers say: Quick response

"Red rose landscaping did an amazing job installing our natural stone patio and we couldnâ t be happier! We were super impressed with the professionalism of the project managers Damian and Matt. I watched them work several days in between conference calls and couldnâ t believe how meticulous they were throughout the project to ensure an amazing final product. They were respectful and accommodating to many changes my wife and I wanted to make at the last minute. And there were quite a few! We will have additional work done in our yard and without hesitation utilize red rose again. Thanks"

"I have had Jack and his crew do a couple of jobs for me, I found them to be professional, punctual, and work hard the whole time they are here. If you text Jack he gets back to you quickly. I will hire them again this year. I have been very happy with them and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone."

Excavating questions, answered by experts

Skunk digging looks like a series of small, cone-shaped holes on a lawn or around the perimeter of a home, porch, deck, or shed. The holes that skunks dig when searching for grubs tend to be no more than four inches in diameter and may be up to four inches deep.

Yes, you can excavate in the winter, but it might make the job harder. Frozen ground is harder to dig, and snow or ice can make the work site more hazardous. A contractor may need special equipment and techniques, such as ground-thawing methods, to break through frozen soil. Although winter excavation is possible, it may take longer and be more costly than excavating during warmer months.

In the United States, a depth of 36 inches (three feet) for underground water lines is the accepted industry standard. This depth varies from location to location based on local conditions. In areas with colder winters, they may be buried deeper to prevent frozen well water pipes : This is usually at least six inches below the frost level. The International Plumbing Code calls for a minimum of 12 inches below grade.

The digging depth will depend on the size of the trencher you use. Even smaller units can dig up to 4 feet deep, which is plenty for a DIY job. However, much larger trenchers can reach a depth of 18 feet and are better used by a team of pro contractors, not a single DIYer. As with all home improvement projects, use the right tool for the job and proceed with caution.

Preparation involves site assessment, clearing debris, grading surfaces, and compacting soil to support stable construction.
