That huge, direct surge of energy destroyed all the systems and contents that made my house more than four walls and a roof. In addition to the bolt of lightning destroying all the systems in the house, it caused a violent, destructive fire. Thankfully I was home at the time of the incident, or the house would have quickly burned down all the way down and my pets would have suffered a terrible fate. Still, after all was said and done what had been my home for seventeen years was reduced to nothing more than an outer shell.
