Flying Colors Roofing and PaintersSteven and team did an outstanding job turning our home from one with chipped paint from multiple terrible painting jobs and gapping holes from woodpeckers to looking like a brand new home! The team replaced all damaged shingles, removed an old door and added shingles in its place to match the rest of the house, sanded down the old paint (over multiple days) and then painted beautifully. They also took some extra days to remove old wallpaper up our stairs and in our hallways, repaired the drywall and repainted. Every day the team was onsite and ready to work at the time we were told (and usually even early) and the project was wrapped up exactly when we were told, and surpassed all of our expectations. We will definitely be recommending Flying Colors to anyone and everyone in the future.- Matthew M.

Gikas Painting, Roofing and RestorationGika's painters were extremely courteous, prompt and professional. The exterior home painting was done thoroughly and details I did not even think of, his painters did! I would not think twice before recommending Gika's. Hernane Vilaca, the manager on the project would visit daily, call or text daily and also just take time to walk around the property and talk with me. He painted samples on my cedar shake so I could take a day or two and decide. Any cedar shake that was rotted or broken - they replaced with new and painted! He provided a detailed contract upon assessment of my home and was very communicative throughout. The team of painters he employs are kind and incredibly skilled! They did everything from power washing, priming, painting the entire house, trim, doors, and gutters, and light carpentry work to replace damaged cedar and trim in just a few days! They worked diligently throughout the heat and were very kind and communicative. The painters did a beautiful job! I appreciated the carpentry work which saved me from sourcing a contractor/carpenter myself. We used Flying Colors about a year ago as well to paint our kitchen and the gentleman on the job was the very same that came to paint my house - and he remembered me! They did a wonderful job then, which is why I reached out to Steven for a much bigger project. The price point is very reasonable for a young person like myself to afford, one of the more reasonable I encountered in searching for a painter in the Stamford area. I gave him a call and received a prompt phone call back from George who is extremely knowledgeable and very well spoken. George was extremely kind to give me advice and spend time talking to me regarding a project that I have planned as he unfortunately could not take on my particular project. I am very happy that he provided me with the advice that he did because it will definitely help me going forward and I truly wish I could have worked with him and his team. If you live in the Brooklyn area give them a call, ask all the questions you have, they have amazing customer service and clearly George cares enough about his Business and profession to be helpful to potential customers.
