Small jobs welcome

"We have McMorris Power washing for pressure wash our pool deck, patio furniture, sidewalk & driveway, and street gutter every November after the rainy season near Tommy Maiorini Park, and have for many many years. They do an excellent job, always on time and cleanup well. I would highly recommend them, without reservation."

"Hired Carlos and his team on two jobs. One to fireproof Sheetrock my boiler room and add fireproof door. Another project which included painting my ceilings, putting in a bedroom door, fixing/ resizing a closet door and making a floor saddle to connect two floors. Very happy with everything. Would recommend and use again."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

No matter the material, the best times to pressure wash or power wash a patio are spring and summer during a string of dry days. As long as the temperature is above 40 degrees Fahrenheit, you won’t encounter any cold-related issues. You need those dry days to ensure no algae or mold grows on the wet surface of the patio.

A pressure washer’s size or power is measured in pounds per square inch (PSI). The amount of pressure you need will depend on your project and the material you’re washing, but consumer pressure washers range from 500 to 2,400 PSI. Porous materials like brick and stucco should not be blasted with anything stronger than 1,000 PSI, while you can use a PSI of up to 2,400 to clean a vinyl fence.

The cost to pressure wash a house ranges from $200 to $400 and unfortunately does not include fencing. That service will be an additional charge of between $150 and $350, depending on the size of your fence and the type of material it’s made of. This also applies for other services like pressure washing a patio or deck.

Experts typically recommend pressure washing your driveway at least once per year to keep it looking great while preventing stains, cracks, and unwanted vegetation. However, if your driveway gets a lot of use, you might want to pressure wash it more often to keep it looking like new.

No, you should not pressure wash or power wash roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure from these machines is too strong and can damage the shingles by forcing water underneath, loosening their adhesive, and causing them to fall off. A safer and better alternative is soft washing with a pump sprayer. To ensure the job is done safely without causing damage, it is best to hire a local roof cleaner.
