I was always satisfied. It was not an easy place to get to from Cambridgeport. One time I stood at the bus stop for about an hour in the freezing cold to go pick up my car (pre Uber and cell phones). Mike was there, although not in the best frame of mind. I don't use them anymore due to the fact that I have a newer car and have been going to the dealer, at a much more convenient location.

As always, the team at Mike's was professional, courteous and thorough. We have been bringing our automobiles to them for years and have never had a complaint. They stand behind their work!

How did it go overall? Tell us the story from start to finish (10,000 character limit): I've happily used Mike's Automotive Services many times over the years but had returned to using the dealer after purchasing a new car a couple of years ago. When I nicked the two driver-side tires on a curb on 6/16/16, the service department at the car dealer said they couldn't see me until after July 5th. I then called Mike and he said to bring my car in the next morning. After dealing with the tires, Mike asked if I wanted to have him do the 30K service maintenance the same day to save me a trip back in a few months. I had planned to go back to the dealer for that service in October and have the break pads replaced then but decided to go ahead and save myself the additional trip and have Mike do the work. When the Tire Pressure Monitoring System alert lit up on my car dash board 10 days later, I took the car back to Mike's the next morning without calling for an appointment first. I was willing to wait and Mike fit me in, found a screw embedded in one of the new tires he'd installed 10 days earlier, called his warehouse, and was able to install another brand new tire at no charge. I said that I wanted to pay for the labor but he wouldn't accept my payment. I know that I can always trust Mike's Automotive Services -- they work with me to find the best solution, are mindful about expenses, and more importantly, are responsive to safety issues. I'm grateful and feel fortunate to have such an honest, trustworthy, customer service-oriented provider in the neighborhood.

I arrived on time. The mechanic was expecting me and took in the car immediately. I waited in a comfortable lobby. After about half and hour the work was done. Painless process.

I thought Mike did an extremely thorough, skilled, and extremely efficient job repairing my car. Though I brought my vehicle in mostly for an issue I was having with the guages on my dash (speedometer, odometer, gas meter, hot/cold meter -- all of them were going off an on at random), he detected some other issues that I knew were going on, but didn't really want to face up to. He was super great about it though, gave me reasonable estimates before he did anything, and now my car drives so much better. As a single woman who doesn't know a ton about cars, I didn't feel that Mike was trying to take advantage of me in any way. I would definitely recommend his service to anyone, and I will look forward to using him in the future.

It went very well! It's only been a couple of days, but I haven't had any issues with the car so far. They had a great number of positive reviews. I had called a couple of other companies as well, but they were by far the most responsive and I just felt comfortable using them. I just moved to the area, so they are going to be my mechanic moving forward!

I had to leave the car overnight for the repairs and he personally drove me to the subway station so that I could get back into Boston which I felt was above and beyond the call of duty.
