"Frank did a great job painting our house exterior in fall of 2020. His team was on time, very professional and thorough in their work. He has done a lot of work for us, both interior and exterior, and we are always highly satisfied. His follow up and focus on customer satisfaction are best in class. I highly recommend Frank's painting"

"Manny and his workmen did a great job! My deck was in bad disrepair and the stairs were breaking and paint was all chipping until Manny and his team of professional construction crews fixed everything. They prepped power washed, sanded old paint and stained and resealed my deck and stairs… they look brand new! They took extra care to clean up after they were done. It was done a couple days and the price was very fair too! I will use them again for sure. My Next project I will call Manny at LI painting plus! I’m a Very satisfied customer!"

"My experience with Viteza could not have gone better. I needed to repaint the entire interior of my 3000 sq ft home. Viteza came to the rescue. They were professional, friendly and very tidy. After the work was finished each day the work area was left spotless. They completed their work efficiently and went above and beyond what I had thought a painting company would do. This was a rather large and complex job with certain areas extremely high up that I didn’t know how they would reach, but they did it and they did it safely. I would highly recommend Viteza to anyone else seeking any type of painting work."

Small jobs welcome

"We are beyond grateful to Mike and his team at Purely Paint for the paint jobs they did on our bedrooms. They were professional from start to finish. Mike responded within an hour of me reaching out and after asking a few questions and requesting a few photos he provided a quote which was reasonable compared to his competitors. He provided his team’s availability and was able schedule the job within a week. He came to treat one of the more complex walls two days advance and the had his team complete the main job which they were able to complete in half a day. Notably, since we had chosen a dark navy color for the master bedroom they recommended a third coat of paint to ensure the quality of the color and went through the trouble of doing so even though it took them extra time. We could not be happier with results and will definitely be recommending Mike to all our family & friends!"

"Both rooms were painted the same color walls and ceiling. They over bought the paint and because we had no use for the TWO left over gallons, they kept them. We did NOT get a refund. We are disappointed in their practise. This was the second time we've used Precision Painting Plus. This left a bad feeling."

"Efren and his team did a very nice job of repair and painting of the outside and inside of my home. They showed up on time daily and worked the full day, cleaning up at the end of the day. There were a couple of blips along the way but Efren went above and beyond on trying to make things right. Efren was very responsive to request and showed up daily to keep the project on schedule and to make sure things were going right. I would recommend them and plan on using Nunez Construction again for other projects as they arise."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

Professional painters often use a Turpentine-based solution to remove paint, since it can remove oil-based paint as well as acrylics and varnishes. It’s also an organic material derived from tree resin, so it’s less toxic than traditional paint strippers. Consult a professional cabinet refinisher or painter about the best materials to use for paint stripping.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

Professionals handle heavy lifting, proper disposal, and recycling, reducing environmental impact.

Some methods of removing paint from metal that use physical force, like scraping or grinding, may damage the metal. Other methods like chemical strippers or acids are unlikely to damage the metal underneath, but take care using any method to strip paint to minimize the chance of damage.
