It turned out to be the computer board which would have cost more than most new dishwashers. He suggested that we just buy a new dishwasher and forego the repair. He only charged us the $75 Service Call even though he was there two days in a row for at least an hour each time. He came up with an ingenious way and resolved the issue in a few minutes. My wife is happy and so am I. Price to install all three appliance with a little plumbing was very reasonable.
