"I just moved into my house that wasn't updated since the 70s at least. I did a major reno myself, but had a huge amount of debris. I'm hesitant to hire people because I do mostly everything on my own and typically get frustrated watching people do things that I feel I can do a better way... yes I'm one of those. But I saw the add and I didn't have a trailer. I have to say they were very professional. I scheduled an appointment. They were able to come by pretty quick for an estimate. I did call two other places but eagle eye gave the best price. They did the work I needed quickly and professionally. Without that help I wouldn't be anywhere near completed with my projects. I would recommend this company to anyone."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Composting can be a great alternative if you’re looking for a way to dispose of food scraps without a garbage disposal. If you have the space in your yard, you can install a compost bin or compost pile and add food waste. After enough time and heat, the compost will break down and can be used to mulch your garden.

If you don’t have space for compost, consider city-run programs or local companies that will pick up your food waste.

Concrete disposal costs between $0.50 and $2 per square foot of concrete in most cases, but the price can fall outside of that range depending on a few factors. Some of the most important cost factors include the following:

  • Amount of concrete you need hauled away

  • Distance from a proper dump site

  • Whether or not your old concrete can be recycled

  • Add-on services, like concrete demolition and site prep

  • Local dumping costs

Service costs depend on several factors, including the system's age, type, and size, as well as the complexity of the repair. Labor costs and whether replacement parts are necessary also play a significant role.

Some companies offer hazardous waste removal, but additional fees and special handling procedures may be required.

The cost of biohazard cleanup averages between $3,000 and $5,000 for most homeowners. Some services, like sanitizing high-traffic areas or sanitizing surfaces from a virus, cost closer to $1,500. However, other circumstances, like the extensive cleanup after a major sewer backup, could cost as much as $25,000
